Monday

Calvin's still playing nursemaid to Spencer, but Leo puts pressure on him to get a job. Calvin manages to secure an interview with a security firm that afternoon, but in a bid to appease Spencer, he promises to take him bowling afterwards. Spencer's upset, however, when Calvin returns having landed the job and reveals that they've asked him to start last in the day. Leo's left to look after Spencer but he doesn't do a good job and as they continue to wind each other up, Spencer eventually bursts out of the front door and runs to look for Calvin.
Calvin, however, doesn't appreciate being bothered while he's at work. He quits the job, feeling that he can't trust Leo to look after Spencer alone. Spencer's overjoyed to think he'll be able to spend more time with his friend, but Leo's not so happy. Calvin knows that he needs a job to bring in money, but his guilty conscience won't allow him to see Spencer unhappy…
Meanwhile, as tensions rise between Abi and Daniel, Ste begins to feel like he's in the way. Daniel can't hide his annoyance when he returns home to find that Lucas has thrown up on his laptop, prompting Ste to suggest that he move out.
Worried that he's gone too far, Daniel goes to the Barnes in a bid to convince Sarah not to let Ste live there. Daniel's pleased that he's managed to block one option, but Ste's managed to persuade a reluctant Gilly into letting him have his old place back and Daniel panics on hearing the news.
In the hope of foiling Ste's plans, Daniel goes to see Gilly and says that he knows someone who's desperate for somewhere to live, before making out that Ste doesn't have the money to rent anyway. Gilly agrees but he feels awful when he has to turn Ste down.
Ste's furious with Gilly and is forced to crawl back to Daniel and Abi with his tail between his legs. He's very grateful when they take him back under their roof. As they all celebrate, Daniel slips more caffeine into Ste's wine…
Elsewhere, Darren advises Loretta to sue for her accident, but she doesn't want to make a fuss. A hungover Hannah soon turns up to apologise for the previous night but Loretta tells her to leave it. They head off to the hospital together and Loretta apologises to Hannah for kissing Darren, but Hannah brushes the situation aside.
Darren tells Hannah that he's thinking of putting on an indie night at The Dog and asks her to have a word with her dad but she seems reluctant, especially when he keeps having a dig at her. Loretta, however, is more interested in the prospect of her new car. Darren tries to warn her that she may not be able to afford a new motor but Loretta won't listen.
They all go to MOBS where Gilly turns up to see if Loretta's OK. Feeling smothered, though, she storms off. She's given a harsh reality check, though, when Dreamers ask her to take a break from the club.
Later, Hannah's impressed by how sweet Darren is with Loretta and agrees to have a word with her dad about his suggested indie night. She takes a miserable Loretta to The Dog, where Sarah and Hannah try to convince her that looks aren't everything. Loretta, however, is inconsolable and rips up her new car brochure

Tuesday

Natty returns to the village to find Ste, while Daniel's looking after Lucas for the day. Natty manages to catch up with Zoe to apologise, but while she doesn't judge him, she makes it clear she doesn't want to get involved again. Dejected, Natty goes to finds Ste at Il Gnosh. He tries to warn him about Daniel but Ste simply throws him out of the restaurant.
With Ste unwilling to listen, Natty decides to break into Daniel's house in the hope of finding some incriminating evidence to back up his claims. When Daniel, Abi and Ste return home to discover that someone's been inside, they immediately suspect Natty.
Daniel quickly tracks Natty down and taunts him until he snaps and punches him. Ste and Abi turn up just in time to see Natty stood over a bloodied Daniel. Abi and Ste call the police, prompting Natty to make a run for it…
Meanwhile, Malachy's keen to return to work. He goes to see if there's any construction work on offer at The Loft, but he's informed that they're fully-staffed. While Cheryl tries to chat up Calvin, Malachy watches the builders working on The Loft revamp, waiting for the moment they do something wrong. He soon informs and Calvin that the construction team are cowboys as they're using cheap materials.
Spencer seems alarmed by what's happened and to add to his worry, Carmel reminds him that he also owns Evissa. Having heard about the shoddy workmanship, Spencer makes the executive decision to sacks the foreman and his team, replacing them with Calvin and Malachy.
While Malachy's overjoyed to be back in work, Calvin's annoyed at Spencer's rash decision. Spencer also employs a chuffed Carmel as Evissa's new manager, before persuading Calvin that them working together is a good compromise - Calvin can now work and look after Spencer at the same time.
Later, when Malachy returns home, Mercedes intends to head for the bedroom but Malachy dozes off before they have chance. Her annoyance soon turns to pride as she watches her man sleeping after a hard day at work.
Elsewhere, the graduates are low on funds and are in desperate need of work. A hungover Zak turns up at MOBS to find Sarah, Zoe and Kris. Sarah's in high spirits and reveals that she's been offered some work in a call centre. Kris – who's had the same offer - isn't so keen and brags that he'd be able to lose his job within the first 30 minutes. Zak and Zoe then hear about the work from their temping agency.
When they turn at the offices, Kris is dressed outrageously, while his rebellion attempt fails when his supervisor insists that he's not bothered about his clothes as he'll be speaking on the phone. Frustrated that he's not having the desired effect, Kris surprised when his boss suggests that customers will love his accent.
They take a written test and Kris finishes first - and he's quickly earning himself the title of teacher's pet. Everyone passes the test apart from Sarah, who has to re-take. However, she passes after a second sitting and the group celebrate with another smoothie.

Wednesday

Malachy's keen to start work at The Loft and Spencer wants to help out, too. Calvin, however, believes that he'll be more of a hinderance. Lucky for Calvin, Cheryl offers to take Spencer to MOBS. At the smoothie bar Cheryl enjoys lusting over instead of working, riling Steph as she works her magic.
Calvin begins to feel useless and out of his depth as Malachy takes charge at the site. He asks Malachy to at least make it look like he's in charge. Meanwhile, Cheryl's a woman on a mission and goes to see Calvin again. However, feeling totally overwhelmed by her, he tells her back off.
As the day goes on, Calvin begins to feel like part of the gang, but while the workers are having a laugh, they don't notice Spencer spilling beer in the yard. Later at The Dog, Cheryl prattles on to Kris and Steph about the new life she hopes to have with Calvin.
As they clock off at The Loft site, Malachy slips and hurts himself, but the other workmen don't want to go near him. Mercedes is socked to arrive and find her man laying injured on the floor…
Meanwhile, the graduates are not too eager for their first shift at the call centre. At the start of the day, their manager Sheila decides to elect a team leader. Sarah volunteers but is turned down in favour of Kris. The others jibe him for being her favourite. He manages to get their backs up by sharing a private whisper with Sheila and by telling Zak to drop his accent when he's speaking on the phone.
Sheila heads out for an hour leaving Kris in charge and the others think they're in for an easy ride but Kris tells them otherwise. Zoe and Zak put on different accents for callers which annoys Kris, but he's happy so long as continue selling.
Sarah, meanwhile, receives a call from a pervert and when Sheila instructs her to carry on with the sale, Sarah aborts. Kris continues to brown nose Sheila but when he makes a snotty joke about Zak's accent, he and Zoe walk out and head for a drink without him
Elsewhere, Abi is shocked when Daniel tells her that he consciously provoked Natty into hitting him. When they leave the hospital, Daniel and Abi pass a couple with a newborn baby. Abi can barely contain her desire for a child. Ste, meanwhile, feels refreshed after a much-needed sleep. Later, Daniel realises that Abi is struggling and he reassures her that she will get a child of her own eventually, but it's clear that she's still pining for Lucas. When Abi says that she wants to leave Hollyoaks to be a family again, Daniel feels under pressure. And Carmel's overjoyed to return to Evissa. She recruits Mercedes to help clean up but ends up doing most of the work herself. While Mercedes is having her nails done, she probes Carmel over whether she still has feelings for Calvin. Carmel, however, manages to dodge the question. Carmel knows that she's being exploited by her sister for free treatment, but when she admits to damaging one of Mercedes' dresses the scores are even. The sisters enjoy a rare bonding session

Thursday

Mercedes is worried about Malachy's injury, but he insists on going to work. At The Loft, Malachy's determined not to show any signs of pain while he lifts heavy bags of cement. On his lunch break, Mercedes asks her husband how his workmates have reacted after the accident, but he tries to dodge the issue.
Cheryl and Spencer walk over just in time to see the couple arguing and Spencer makes the situation - he blurts out that Calvin told him that Malachy's virus made him unsafe to be around. Malachy's evidently hurt, but Cheryl advises Mercedes to let him get on with his work.
Nevertheless, Mercedes decides to give Calvin a piece of her mind. Malachy overhears Calvin saying he regrets ever employing him and he erupts, calling Calvin ungrateful. However, just as Malachy is about to storm off, Calvin responds with an intriguing offer.
Calvin feels guilty about Malachy's accident. Spencer suspects that Calvin is angry with him, but Calvin tells him that he should stay away from The Loft because of Malachy's virus. Cheryl looks after Spencer but he's resentful about her telling him what to do. Later they bump into Malachy and Mercedes and Spencer blurts out what Calvin said about Malachy's virus. Malachy is hurt but assures him that he's safe.
Later, Cheryl slips out of the flat during a game of hide and seek. However, Spencer has the same idea and goes to The Loft to berate Calvin for lying. When he returns home, Cheryl tells him off for running out. While Cheryl is changing a bulb, Spencer coughs his sweet out and it sticks to her bum. Spencer goes to retrieve it and Cheryl accuses him of pinching her backside.
She decides to cook dinner for Calvin and enlists Spencer to help choose what to make. However, Spencer's still sulking and doesn't help much. Cheryl suspects that he's jealous and asks whether he has a crush on her. In the end, Spencer throws a tantrum in Drive 'N' Buy and starts hurling food at Cheryl.
Elsewhere, Abi wants to leave town following Natty's attack, but Daniel has second thoughts. Ste senses tension, but assumes that they're just talking about Natty. While they're out, Daniel tells Abi that she can have Lucas, but she suspects he's trying to fob her off. Mike sees them and has a go at Daniel for letting Natty near Lucas.
Over at Daniel's house, Mike's disgusted to find Ste fast asleep while Lucas is playing. Furious, he takes Lucas out with him. When Abi and Daniel return home and Ste wakes, the young father panics and assumes that Natty has taken Lucas. Ste wants to ring the police, but Daniel and Abi are concerned and try to stop him.
Eventually, Ste and Daniel find Lucas with Mike. They argue and Mike ends up punching Ste. Ste tells an appalled Mike that he can say goodbye to Lucas from now on, while Daniel looks pleased that his plan's finally coming together.

Friday

Kris is taking his new job very seriously and enjoys lording it over Zak and Zoe. Kris manages to wind Zak up by talking to him in a patronising manner and it's up to Zoe to try to calm the situation down. Happy to be earning, Zoe pencils herself in for a double shift.
As the day goes on, Kris keeps raising his productivity arrow higher, whil Zak and Zoe are united in antipathy. Zoe eventually makes a sale, but Zak is less successful.
As Kris orders him about, he's reduced to childish acts of subversion. He nearly snaps when Kris reveals that he's been timing their toilet breaks. It's Zoe who ends up losing it with Kris, however, when he hijacks one of her calls to sell useless products to a woman who could get into debt.
Zoe accuses Kris of becoming satanic, but Kris won't back down. Zak watches with concern as battle lines are drawn between Zoe and Kris…
Meanwhile, Ste feels bad for having neglected Lucas the previous day. Daniel and Abi don't want him to make up with Mike and attempt to convince him that Mike's attack was way out of order. Nevertheless, Ste tries to find Mike and sort things out.
While Ste's out, Abi takes Lucas into the village, where she bumps into Mike outside The Dog. He blames Ste for fobbing Lucas off with someone who isn't even part of the family and he threateningly tells Abi to back off from his grandson.
Abi's terrified and when she tells Daniel and Ste how horrible Mike was to her, Daniel heaps the pressure on Ste to get shut of the 'psycho Mike'. Mike turns up while they're all talking in Il Gnosh and Ste tells him that he's going to get an injunction so he can't see Lucas. With his plan in full swing, Daniel calls an unknown person to tell them that Lucas is available for adoption…
Calvin's overwhelmed by caring for Spencer and Leo tells his son that he should palm Spencer off. Calvin's dad argues that Spencer's not family and that Calvin has other people to think about. Calvin, however senses that his dad's being selfish, but when Neville phones up to ask for reparation for the damage Spencer caused Drive 'N' Buy the previous day, Calvin's forced to warn Spencer to behave.
Cheryl turns up with a baked pie which she offers to make amends, but Spencer is still reluctant to apologise. She thinks Calvin is a saint for not putting Spencer in a home, but while they're flirting with each other, Spencer becomes increasingly jealous and rushes out. Cheryl and Calvin find him outside MOBS, nervously retreating from Malachy who he thinks is angry with him. An argument breaks out between them and when Mercedes calls Calvin a loser, Spencer tries to gag her. Mercedes tells Calvin he needs to sort Spencer out.
Calvin's at the end of his tether but Cheryl helps out and manages to talk Spencer round into being good for Calvin. It is too late, though, as Calvin's already called the home. Cheryl tries to stop him when she realises what's happening, but Calvin and Leo think that it's for the best. When they arrive at the sheltered accommodation, Spencer begs to return home. Although Calvin feels bad, he's sure that he's doing the right thing

I'm confused do Daniel and Abi want Lucas for themselves or for another couple?
