Trina to Die

The cast and crew of EastEnders were out on location today filming for a shock funeral. Avert your eyes here if you don't want to be spoiled...

Yes, the Fox family - Denise (Diane Parish), Lucas (Don Gilet) and Chelsea (Tiana Benjamin) - were shooting in a graveyard for the funeral of Trina, Lucas's ex-wife played by Sharon Duncan-Brewster.

Yep, in a shock twist, it looks like Trina meets her maker and I'm told that she's "seriously killed". I'm not quite sure how you can be mildly killed, but still...

I've also heard that there are a number of suspects in the frame for her death. So are we looking at murder? An accident? Suicide?

What's more, why on earth is Stacey (Lacey Turner) at the funeral? And more to the point, why is she climbing in the grave?

i reckon Trina commits suicide and tries to frame it on Denise or Lucas. Glad shes going though she's a loony tune. at least they can get married now.

Weddings never go to plan on Albert Square and it seems that funerals are no different.

Events take a dramatic turn in Walford when Stacey Branning causes a scene at Trina Johnson's burial.

After the coffin is lowered into the ground Stacey (Lacey Turner) turns up ranting and raving.

Wearing a tiny miniskirt, she proceeds to accuse everyone all of burying Lucas's wife alive.

The situation is only made worse when Denise tries to calm her down and the pair end up fighting.

Stacey then jumps into the grave on top of the coffin screaming and shouting: 'You've buried her and she's still alive'.

She frantically claws at the coffin before clambering out of the grave and running away.

Trina Johnson was the estranged wife of Lucas Johnson and a drug addict who was so addicted to heroin her son was born addicted to the drug too.

She turned up on Albert Square earlier this year to try and disrupt Lucas' planned marriage to Denise.

The storyline is the latest twist in Stacey's fight with bipolar, which causes her to act erratically.

Stacey has been on a downward spiral in recent months since the death of her best friend Danielle Jones (Lauren Crace) and her brother Sean (Robert Kazinsky) going missing in January after discovering his wife Roxy Mitchell's (Rita Simons) baby Amy wasn't his child.

Lacey, who plays Stacey, says of the bipolar storyline: 'I think its great that EastEnders is continuing to raise awareness of this difficult issue.

'With the research that EastEnders has done with these charities, I hope that I can do justice to this challenging storyline.'

I hate this storyline with Trina, its so boring. Stacey stuff looks good though.

i agree. i dont like trina and i dont like the foxes and this storyline is incredibly dull. glad trina dies, cant wait for the storyline to be over!

I thought that. I guess other than killing herself in a way that incriminates one/both of them with false evidence or something, they could also be made to look guilty if they marry really quickly after she dies; a longer wait would have been involved to get a divorce even if she didn't contest it, which is unlikely. The way he reacted when he found he had that interview last week I thought that she'd agreed to a divorce or something. That wouldn't have fitted in with her scheming to get Lucas back the last time we saw her though.

Turns out she dies in the allotment with Lucas at her side. They have an arguement over being together she asks for money from him to stay away from him and Jordan as she's back on the drugs. Lucas finds her in Charlie's summer house they row she falls and lands on a rake which pierces her neck and she dies. Before she dies she tries to phone for help as Lucas leaves her when she begs for help.

He then quickly makes it look like an overdose as he injects her then throws the needle away. Found out on Digital Spy Forum.

Very painful death by the sounds of it!

It'll catch up with Lucas in end though i think, i reckon that'll be part of the xmas storyline this year or before i could be wrong. Maybe Denise will find out and keep quiet for Jordans sake but it'll definatly get out. Perhaps as him and Denise are about to get married he's found out about lettin her die, the police barge in etc.

Ha yh exactly who does! It could happen in real life tho u never know.
Bit of an odd way to kill her off tho, could of made her stay abit longer but i guess they didn't want to make the storyline go on for ages and drag out with a drug addiction.

Would annoy viewers, and plus she's not a big character really. She'll be forgotten within a few weeks.

When I read about Trina telling Lucas that she'll stay away if he gives her £1,000, I thought she would use it to kill herself with an overdose and to frame Lucas for it. I think I'd prefer that; is Lucas planning on saying that she took an overdose and then conveniently fell on a rake or something?

Don't care if she dies, for me she hasn't had enough screen time to contribute as a real character so when she dies i wouldn't even be bothered, and if this is a Christmas storyline then I will be Very disappointed in EE.

I just do not understand how the SUMMER HOUSE would go unattended..Charlie was quite an avid gardener..And you would think there were loads of people on the allotment,, again EE needs a reality check again :rotfl:

I think Lucas will be eat up with guilt and CONFESS... poor Denise, can not seem to find a DECENT man :rolleyes:

Silly ending to her character in my opinion, Lucas is meant to be a caring person, would he really let his estranged wife and mother of his son die like this? I know he wanted to get rid of her but surely not in this manner. I agree that in the nice weather a lot more people would have been at the allotments.

I don't think what he did was out of character at all. He has shown in the past that he's not beyond beating people up and/or covering up his own misdeeds.

I think her behavior is down to not taking her medication.. I do not think she was UPSET over Trina's death at all,, its her mental illness and not taking her medication ...:searchme:

This is soapland, a lot of people go to funerals of folk they did not know (see Blanche in Corrie lol). It might be to show support to Denise and Lucas that Stacey goes
