CRAZED Lexi King stands on the roof of an office block - after snatching Nicola De Souza's baby.

The Emmerdale factory worker, played by Sally Oliver, hovers dangerously close to the edge.

In the dramatic scenes, which will air next month, mum Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tries desperately to reason with Lexi.

Last month pregnant Lexi lost her baby and was told she'd never be able to have children. After seeing bitchy Nicola struggle with motherhood, Lexi takes matters into her own hands.

I read that there would be a baby snatcher, but I thought it was going to be Ronnie at first, but it stated NOT EASTENDERS.

I am looking forward to these scenes being aired.

I didn't think Nicola was that far on but the soaps sometimes have the same storylines so we may still see this happening in Eastenders.

Don't know how far on Nicola is, but she was already a few months pregnant when she found out.

she could have the baby after lexi pushes her down the stairs, this would account for the pregnancy going fast, as nic could go into prem labour, I wouldn't put it past the writers to do that.

ITV soap Emmerdale has filmed a real-time episode revolving around a rooftop baby kidnap plot.

The episode, which is due to transmit in a fortnight's time, features only five characters and focuses on the events following Lexi King's (Sally Oliver) decision to run to the hospital roof with Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Jimmy's (Nick Miles) newborn baby girl Angelica.
