Sally’s (Sally Whittaker) all loved up after their night in a posh hotel but Kevin (Michael Le Vell) feels slightly awkward knowing it should really have been for him and Molly. Molly (Vicky Binns) meanwhile is extremely fed up. Jealous of Sally she takes her bad mood out on an innocent Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and her day goes form bad to worse when she calls to see Kevin and he tells her they must end their affair as it’s not fair on Sally or Tyrone. Molly’s gutted and begs him to reconsider.

Meanwhile when Tyrone surprises Molly with a holiday in Tenerife she feigns delight but she doesn’t want to go and is secretly devastated when it becomes apparent Kevin encouraged Tyrone to book it.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is thrilled when John (Graeme Hawley) sends her his grandmother’s engagement ring in the post complete with a visiting order. She goes to see him and he places the engagement ring on her finger. Fiz is delighted but still can’t bring herself to tell John about the problems with Chesney.

A fed up Claire (Julia Haworth) is feeling bloated so she tells Ashley (Steven Arnold) she’s putting them on a high fibre diet and books them a holiday in Blackpool. She’s not best pleased when Ashley says he can’t go as there’s no- one to cover the shop.

Elsewhere Pam (Kate Anthony) regrets setting Bill (Peter Armitage) up and conning him into a date but it’s too late to get out of it and Jack (William Tarmey) suggests to Connie (Rita May) he’d like to see where she lives and meet her sister but Connie’s evasive.

Meanwhile young love also has its troubles as Sophie’s (Brooke Vincent) worried Ben won’t speak to her again. Sian (Sacha Parkinson) reckons he’ll be fine.

Monday 13 July continued

Molly (Vicky Binns) tries to get excited over the holiday but she’s gutted that Kevin (Michael Le Vell) wants her out of the way. Kevin admits to her that he wants her all the time and she must go away on holiday for both their sakes. Meanwhile Tyrone (Alan Halsall) gives Molly a beautiful silk wrap to wear on the beach and Molly thanks him, covering her inner turmoil over her feelings for Kevin.

Claire (Julia Haworth) decides they’ll spend the money creating a play area for Joshua (Benjamin Beresford) in the backyard rather than on a holiday. Pleased with this idea Ashley (Steven Arnold) agrees. But when Ashley sends Graeme (Craig Gazey) home from the butchers calling him a liability he’s not impressed to find that Claire has enlisted Graeme’s help in doing up the backyard. But his claims that they can’t afford it seem to be falling on deaf ears.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) asks Hayley (Jule Hesmondhalgh) to be her witness at the wedding but Hayley refuses on the grounds Fiz hasn’t told Chesney about it. Fiz is upset but she lies to John (Graeme Hawley) telling him Hayley’s delighted at the prospect of being a witness. How long can Fiz continue deceiving John?

Bill (Peter Armitage) cancels his date with the woman from the personal ad and goes for a drink with Pam (Kate Anthony) instead. Pam lets slip that she was the woman in the ad. How will Bill react?

Elsewhere Sophie’s (Brooke Vincent) pleased when Ben texts her asking to meet up.

PI for Wednesday 15 July

Ashley (Steven Arnold) and Claire (Julia Haworth) continue to row over the holiday and the backyard. Ashley’s adamant they can’t afford either so he’s furious when Claire spends £70 on new trainers for Joshua (Benjamin Beresford). Angry he decides to join Lloyd (Craig Charles) and Peter (Chris Gascoyne) on a lads’ night in the Rovers. Claire’s furious as Ashley was meant to be baby-sitting. She rows with him in the pub and tells him to find somewhere else to spend the night. Ashley’s humiliated

Anna (Debbie Rush) congratulates Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) on her forthcoming wedding and tells her that Gary told her all about it. Fiz is shocked to discover she and John are the talk of the prison. Needing someone to talk to Fiz confides in Natasha (Rachel Leskovac) about her prison wedding. Natasha’s sympathetic and offers to do her hair as a gift.

Jack’s (William Tarmey) fretting about Scarlet his pigeon as she’s missing again. He wants to check that she’s not flown to Connie’s house but Connie’s (Rita May) dismissive and doesn’t seem keen to have Jack round at the house. Jack wonders what she’s hiding from him.

Sophie (Brooke Vincent) rows with Ben (Lucien Laviscount) accusing him of fancying Rosie which results in Ben finishing with her. Sophie runs upstairs in tears as Sian (Sacha Parkinson), Ryan (Ben Thompson) and Sally (Sally Whittaker) watch concerned.

At the Kabin Norris (Malcolm Hebden) complains to Rita (Barbara Knox) about his bunion as he hobbles round the shop. Ramsay (Andrew Sachs) drops off some special shoes for Norris to ease his bunion but knowing how Norris would react to his gift he asks Rita to pretend they’re from her.

PI for Friday 17 July

Ashley (Steven Arnold) wakes up in Peter’s (Chris Gascoyne) flat with a hangover and goes home intent on making up with Claire (Julia Haworth) but she refuses to let him in, wanting to teach him a lesson. After banging on the doors and windows Ashley realises he is wasting his time and heads off to work. But as Claire does the ironing with Freddie in his play pen she suddenly collapses in agony. It is only the actions of Lloyd (Craig Charles) who saves her as, wondering why Claire hasn’t turned up for work, he calls round to the house. Hearing Freddie crying he peers through the window and finds her unconscious on the floor. Panicking Lloyd calls an ambulance – has he found her in time?

Becky (Katherine Kelly) is in the back yard of the Rovers when Slug (Marshall Lancaster) appears. She enjoys catching up with him about old times but she is stunned when he tells her that he wants her back!

Kevin’s (Michael Le Vell) regretful as he watches Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Molly (Vicky Binns) leave for Tenerife. He knows it is better if she is not around but he knows he is going to miss Molly.

Under pressure Connie (Rita May) finally takes Jack (William Tarmey) round to her house. He’s taken aback to discover Connie lives in a mansion and that she is worth a small fortune!

Elsewhere Norris (Malcolm Hebden) is delighted with his surgical shoes but he suspects Ramsay (Andrew Sachs) might be behind them.

Ashley’s (Steven Arnold) shocked to see Claire (Julia Haworth) being stretchered out of the house and into an ambulance. Lloyd (Craig Charles) explains how he found her unconscious on the floor. It’s touch and go as Ashley waits nervously at the hospital for news on his wife. The doctor tells Ashley that Claire has suffered a pulmonary embolism caused by deep vein thrombosis but Ashley is even more shocked to learn that she was pregnant and has lost the baby. The doctors explain that she will need an operation and a devastated Ashley breaks down as Peter (Chris Gascoyne) comforts him.

Slug (Marshall Lancaster) tells Becky (Katherine Kelly) that they should be together and she should stop trying to pretend to be something that she’s not. She’s stung by his comments and they jokingly do a runner from the pub. Steve (Simon Gregson) spots Slug getting over friendly with Becky and drags him away from her telling him to clear off as he’s not welcome. Becky assures Steve she doesn’t fancy Slug any more just feels sorry for him. But Becky is unaware of Slug’s real motives for coming back round. Just what is Slug up to?

As Jack (William Tarmey) and Connie (Rita May) relax in Connie’s back garden Jack spots Scarlet his pigeon. He’s thrilled to have her back. Connie suggests to Jack they should spend more time at her house and give Molly and Tyrone more time on their own. Jack agrees.

Elsewhere Dev’s (Jimmi Harkishin) furious with Umed (Harish Patel) when he finds out he’s been ripping off the customers and Norris (Malcolm Hebden) forces Ramsay (Andrew Sachs) to admit that he bought the surgical shoes and not Rita. Norris returns the shoes to Ramsay telling him he doesn’t want his gifts.
