An excited Jason (Ryan Thomas) and Tina (Michelle Keegan) tell Eileen (Sue Cleaver) about their plans to buy a property and do it up. Eileen is slightly concerned about how quickly everything is moving but she comes round to the idea. David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) however is never going to warm to the idea of Jason and Tina being an item and he boasts to Jason how he put Gary behind bars to ensure he couldn’t get his hands on Tina. Jason tells a furious Tina who confronts David and spells it out to him that she’s with Jason now and she never wants anything to do with him again. Will this news push David over the edge?

Sally (Sally Whittaker) tells Kevin (Michael Le Vell) she wants to throw a party for her birthday and invite some ‘nice people’ round. Kevin is much more preoccupied with Molly (Vicky Binns) and half heartedly agrees. But when he goes to try and see Molly he spies Tyrone (Alan Halsall) giving her a bunch of flowers and a kiss. Hurt Kevin has no idea that Tyrone is telling her he’s cooking dinner to say sorry for getting drunk and spoiling the previous evening.

Graeme (Craig Gazey) spots Joe’s painkillers and Joe (Reece Dinsdale) is interested to hear how there was a black market for them when Graeme was in the young offenders’ institution. Later a desperate Joe seeks Graeme out and him if he can get him some painkillers just until his back is better. Graeme agrees to speak to his contact.

New Underworld shareholder Rosie (Helen Flanagan) tells Luke (Craig Kelly) and Tony (Gray O’Brien) about her ideas for a new sexier lingerie range. Tony can barely disguise his contempt whilst Luke pretends to take an interest.

Whilst Luke is working on keeping the factory afloat Tony has other fish to fry and leaves to collect Maria (Samia Smith) and baby Liam from the hospital.

Elsewhere Eddie (Steve Huison) continues to nag Anna (Debbie Rush) about getting married but to no avail and Sean (Antony Cottont) goes to the gym and is delighted when Leon (Andrew Langtree) climbs in the jacuzzi with him.

Monday 6 July

David (Jack P Shepherd) is still struggling to come to terms with the news that Tina (Michelle Keegan) and Jason (Ryan Thomas) are an item. He is livid with Jason for stealing his girlfriend and decides to take action. Standing in front of Jason’s truck he forces him to slam on the brakes. Jason is furious and jumps out demanding to know what David’s playing at. All David’s pent up rage comes out and he vents his anger on Jason reigning blows and objects down on him repeatedly. Joe (Reece Dinsdale) and Graeme (Craig Gazey) manage to pull him off but the fight has done little for Eileen (Sue Cleaver) and Gail’s (Helen Worth) relationship. David puts on a brave face and tells Gail he’s over Tina. But alone with Ted (Michael Byrne), David can no longer hide his emotions and sobs in his granddad’s arms.

Maria’s (Samia Smith) touched to discover Tony’s (Gray O’Brien) cleaned the house and made everything nice for her and baby Liam. She tells him how grateful she is but suggests that maybe it’s time for him to move back home as she’s got to learn to cope alone and she knows how busy he is. Tony agrees but both he and Maria are secretly gutted that he is leaving.

Sean (Antony Cotton) chats up Leon (Andrew Langtree) and is pleased to learn that he’s single. But Leon thinks Sean and Jason are an item, Sean is going to have to think on his feet if he’s to get his man.

Elsewhere love is in the air as Jesse (John Thomson) calls in the cab office and flirts with Eileen. Bill (Peter Armitage) meanwhile answers a personal ad in the Gazette unaware that it’s Pam’s (Kate Anthony) advert.

As Sally (Sally Whittaker) makes preparations for her party Kevin’s (Michael Le Vell) mind is very much on Molly. She calls in to see him at the garage just as a customer arrives with a posh car and asks Kevin to fix it. In a moment of madness Kevin insists Molly (Vicky Binns) climb in the car so he can take her for a spin. They drive to a secluded spot but as passion takes over and they kiss they’re shocked when a police officer knocks on the car window. Shaken by their brush with the law Kevin and Molly return to the street where Kevin finds the furious owner of the car there waiting for him. But all the risk taking has merely increased Kevin’s ardour and he calls in the corner shop and drags her into the back room and kisses her. Swept away by his passion Molly agrees to a night in a country hotel with him.

New mum Maria (Samia Smith) is tearful and wonders if she’ll be able to cope alone with the baby. She’s grateful when Tony (Gray O’Brien) offers to stay a bit longer – but is there more to his offer than meets the eye?

Graeme (Craig Gazey) furtively delivers Joe’s (Reece Dinsdale) painkillers but refuses to take payment and tells him it’s a one-off as he’s trying to go straight these days.

Jason (Ryan Thomas) goes to see the bank manager about a mortgage but he’s disappointed to find that he and Tina will need a 25% deposit. Meanwhile David’s (Jack P Shepherd) distraught over losing Tina and Ted (Michael Byrne) does his best to comfort him.
Elsewhere Pam (Kate Anthony) gets Molly to phone Bill (Peter Armitage) and set up the personal ad date with him so he won’t know that it’s actually Pam he’s going to meet.

PI for Friday 10 July

It’s Sally’s (Sally Whittaker) birthday and she excitedly opens her birthday presents at the breakfast table. Rosie (Helen Flanagan) shows off by giving her some diamond earrings. But Kevin’s (Michael le Vell) mind is on Molly and he lies saying he’s been invited to a birthday reunion party by an old school mate in Bristol on Saturday. An unsuspecting Sally tells him he should go whilst over the road Molly (Vicky Binns) lies to Tyrone (Alan Halsall) saying she’s going to spend the night at her dad’s on Saturday as she hasn’t seen him for ages. Oblivious Tyrone agrees that’s a good idea.

As the party is about to start Kevin furtively makes a booking at the Lowry Hotel for him and Molly. But things start to go wrong when Sally answers a call from the hotel on Kevin’s mobile – how will he get out of this one?

As Maria (Samia Smith) busies herself preparing for Helen and Barry’s visit Tony (Gray O’Brien) suggests he should make himself scarce but Maria insists they’ve nothing to hide and he should stay.

An irritated Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) jokingly gives Rosie’s new car a smack with a magazine – mindful that John’s money bought it prompting Chesney (Sam Aston) to tell the Websters that Fiz is trying to damage Rosie’s car. It’s the last straw for Fiz and furious with Chesney she tells him she’s off to visit John whether he likes it or not.

Elsewhere back at the party maneater Rosie corners Ben (Lucien Laviscount) and tries to talk to him about sex. He’s relieved when Sophie (Brooke Vincent) rescues him.

As Sally (Sally Whittaker) waits for an explanation about the hotel booking Molly (Vicky Binns) gives Kevin (Michael Le Vell) a life-line and tells Sally that Kevin booked the Lowry Hotel as a surprise birthday present for her. Sally’s thrilled but Molly is gutted that their romantic night away is ruined and feigning a headache, Molly leaves the party and heads home. She phones Kevin and tells him to come round and, lying to Sally saying he needs to check on the garage, Kevin heads straight for number 9. The pair fall into each others arms and have sex on the sofa! But they have crossed a line and a guilt ridden Kevin returns home to Sally who thanks him for the surprise hotel present and tells him he’s the best husband in the world.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) tells John (Graeme Hawley) she wants to marry him in prison as soon as possible. Secretly she’s worried about everyone’s reaction, particularly Chesney’s (Sam Aston). But with John oblivious to the problems Fiz is having back in Weatherfield he agrees to getting the wedding booked as soon as possible.

At Sally’s party Rosie (Helen Flanagan) proceeds to wind Sophie (Brooke Vincent) up by flirting with Ben (Lucien Laviscount). Sophie finally flips and throws a drink over Rosie. But her actions cause Sophie more problems when Ben tells Sophie he doesn’t go out with drunk girls who get into fights and leaves. Sophie’s upset whilst Rosie’s quietly pleased.

Barry (Frank Grimes) and Helen (Dearbhla Molloy) fuss over Maria (Samia Smith) and their grandson. Helen reckons Tony (Gray O’Brien) must fancy Maria to be living at the house and doing so much for her. Maria assures her they’re just friends but Helen remains suspicious.

Thanks for all of this!

When is Sophie going to be taught a lesson as she is just unbearable :(

I can't believe that Molly and Kevin finally do the deed I thought it would be harmless flirting never a full blown affair. I came across it somewhere that there is a possiblity that Molly will end up pregnant and not knowing who the father is. After reading this soap update about Molly and Kevin's relationship changing and becoming more serious I can believe that a pregnancy could be on it's way soon!

I had hoped that recent events would have put a stop to Fiz's whining and whingeing, but, apparently not. :thumbsdow

THIS is the terrifying moment Street psycho David Platt, face contorted with fury, attacks his love rival with a HAMMER.

The Corrie crazy man goes beserk when he discovers Jason Grimshaw has stolen the heart of Tina, the girlfriend who jilted him.

Platt - who had hoped for a reconciliation with Tina (Michelle Keegan) - plants himself in front of Jason's truck, forcing him to slam on the brakes. And when Jason (Ryan Thomas) jumps out to demand an explanation the Platt brat tries to batter with him his tools.

Joe and Graeme end up having to hold David (Jack P Shepherd) back. Then he does a runner.

A Corrie insider said: "David has loved Tina all along. The news that she is an item with Jason tears him apart." See his anger explode on Monday, July 6.

He did see a doctor after he drove his car into the canal, not sure he wanted to commit suicide or just get attention, but it obviously did not do him much good.

And Kevin (Michael Le Vell) said on last Friday's This Morning that it will take until the end of the year (Christmas) before it becomes common knowledge on Coronation Street so it is not just a one night stand. :(

on Coronation Street, David Platt's (Jack P. Shepherd) back causing trouble for his brother-in-law Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) on the scaffolding at the builders' yard. David was last seen loosening the scaffolding bolts in October 2007, which resulted in Jason plummeting to the floor below.

At the beginning of next month - over a year-and-a-half since his last trip up there - David climbs to the top of the builders' yard and decides to start pelting various objects - such as bricks and mallets - at Jason who cowers behind his van.

Just so we're clear, even though we know David has quite a few screws loose, he doesn't attempt to knock Jason out for the sake of it. He's furious about his ex-lover Tina (Michelle Keegan) embarking on a relationship with his sister's husband.

He's acting as any scorned lover would, right?

These scenes air on Monday, July 6 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
