Apparently shes bringing a new album out soon with the first single to be released named "She-Wolf"
Looking forward to this, if its anything like Hips Don't Lie then im sure i'll love it!

She was good until she did that Beyonce duet it seemed to cause a wierd thing to happen to her career. If she does head back it would be good to see her as I think what she does with her hips is just pure entertainment!

just looked on HMV and its released 21st September according to that, I thought it was meant to be coming out 31st Aug, they must have put it back.
i havent even heard it doing the rounds on the radio or any music shows. i mean other songs like Get Sexy by Sugababes have been overplayed to the max before being released, but Shakira's hasn't. I doubt it will charge highly.

yeah i still hate it. i stumbled across it on you tube whilst i was watching another video earlier, and i thought it was odd i hadn't heard of it recently.
spoke too soon, heard it on the radio this morning. as you say it must have just been pushed back a month for some reason. strange though :hmm:

Shakira has explained the meaning behind her new single 'She Wolf'.
The 32-year old claimed that the song, which is currently at number four on the UK singles chart, is about women feeling empowered and being able to fully express themselves.
"'She Wolf' is the woman of our time," she told Radio 1. "The woman who knows what she wants and is free of prejudice and preconceived notions.
"She defends her deepest desires with teeth and claws like a wild animal."
The singer admitted that she used to spend hours attempting to master her trademark belly dancing moves.
"You just have to roll that belly, I used to practice by trying to flip a coin," she said. "But don't try that after eating.
"It's one of those moves I just thought of in the studio when we were shooting the video and it felt right. I assure you every muscle ached after that video."
Shakira releases new album She Wolf on October 12.

Shakira has confessed that her unique singing style initially made her sound like a "goat".
The 32-year-old admitted that her vocals once even cost her a place in the school choir.
"I never made it to the school choir because the music teacher didn't like my voice," Showbiz Spy quotes the star as saying. "I was pretty sad.
"But he was probably right, I did have a voice a bit like a goat but my dad told me to never give up and to keep going and it's paid off."
