Hi,
This is my first post to the forum, it’s very informative and enjoyable really.
According to Routers, Myspace will cut its staff by 30 percent. As you can guess, Facebook and Twitter are very powerful competitors of myspace. There are many more competitor in online community industry and I wonder which one will become most powerful. Any predictions?

I havent been on myspace in ages!
I don't know anyone who uses Myspace these days. It's all about Facebook and Twitter these days.
Yeah. My mum asked me if I had Twitter earlier. I was like  you know what Twitter is!

I have them all facebook, myspace and twitter all are pretty much the same I used to like myspace groups before they were taken over by the pornbots :(
Facebook and Twitter will go the same way as MySpace
I wonder what would replace it

Thats the downside to myspace it has tried to match facebook with layouts and applications. However I still prefer myspace over facebook as you can customise your own page with HTML coding and all sorts

I like not having music played as soon as I click on someone's profile (a la Myspace) or having to strain my eyes looking at purple writing on a black background.
The simple layout of Facebook suits me fine :)

On myspace now you can disable profile music being played from other users when you enter their pages and you can have a lite version of their page so you don't have to wait a lifetime for their page to load up. Facebook I use more for friends and people I study with myspace is just for acquaintaces and the groups which seem a little more active then facebook
Even though I liked it being personalised on myspace I like how on facebook things are the same which I never thought I would
