Camera filters

I was thinking of getting something like a polarising filter, UV filter, colour, macro filters, that sort of thing. But I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy one..I've only seen one website but that has dodgy reviews so I don't want to buy with it. Ebay had a good set but they were not for my camera.

My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18. It needs a 46mm filter.

Go to a specialist camera shop and take your camera with you. They'll be able to advise you on the right lenses and you'll be able to try them out before you buy.

Yeah I was thinking that I may take in on Friday but I don't know if they would be expensive. I remember we got my camera in America because it was half price there.

I've just looked on Jessops and there is only one filter for £30 for my camera and that is just a protection filter. My camera has already got a cap on it. :lol: Oh well I'll see if there are any other shops around. One of the biggest shopping centre in Europe, got to have a camera store in it. :lol:

Well you could go and see what filters they have, note it down then look online. Say you're going to think about it.

I have an excuse suggestion.

Say that one of your friends from an old school / work or something is thinking of doing A Level Photography. They would like to know what the necessary filters are for the course and whether they could get any for the type of camera they (Stars) have.
