Hm I don't think it would be as good as the US ones, if there ever was one. My opinion.
The US version are so inaccurate.
Luminol is rarely, if ever, used these days because it's a carcinogen. The CSIs interview suspects and victims, which is actually the job of the police. The only role a CSI plays is collecting evidence from the scene.
I know it's a drama but they could at least try and get the scientific work accurate.

He's tooo old to be a Lab Rat, but maybe he could be considered as Ray's boss who he always argues with like Conrad and Grissom in CSI. Lab Rats have to be cute and funny. No ex EE members allowed.

I will need to get my pad and pen out and see who I can afford. Just a point since Ladypink has thought about female cast members there will be no shipping or romance on this show. CSI UK is all about death and science. any hanky panky must be restricted to imagination only. If we can't get Ray Winston as grumpy boss will settle for Phillip Glenister.

:D I was kidding.
Personally, I wouldn't like to see a CSI: UK as much as I love the series. We have other drama's, like Silent Witness etc, which are "generally" the same kind of thing, and those we are great at, so would rather they stuck to it.
Aren't CSI's actually members of the PD's in the US though, which is why some of them interview?? I can't see them have a successful series and franchise like they do, if the fundamental foundations of the show were complete nonsense?!
