Despite David’s (Jack P Shepherd) best attempts to wheedle his way back into his Mum’s good books, Gail (Helen Worth) makes it clear that she wants nothing to do with him for the time being. David is shocked at his Mum’s coldness, and is isolated further by Audrey (Sue Nicholls) who tells him in no uncertain terms that the only reason he’s still got his job at the Salon is because she doesn’t want to add to Gail’s problems, and sends him away on a days unpaid leave with a flea in his ear. After he gets the same response from Tina (Michelle Keegan), David is bereft. He returns home feeling utterly alone, and is astounded when Ted (Michael Bryne) announces that he has forgiven David, and in time, so will Gail.

Sally (Sally Whittaker) tries to persuade Kevin (Michael Le Vell) to invest in Underworld, but he is far from keen on the idea. Events take another twist when Rosie (Helen Flanagan) receives a visiting order through the post from John (Graeme Hawley). On the day of the visit; Rosie feigns illness to stay off work, and, in the most provocative clothing she owns, sneaks to the Prison to see what John could possibly want.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) makes up her mind that she’s going to try and see John, whether he wants to see her or not. Kirk (Andrew Whyment) tries his best to talk her out of it, but when she makes it clear that there’s no point, he agrees to go to the Prison with her. When Fiz arrives with no Visiting Order, a Prison Officer makes it clear she can’t get in, but takes pity on her after hearing her story, and agrees to speak to John. Will he agree to see Fiz?

Audrey and Natasha (Rachel Leskovac) are shocked to discover that Tony (Gray O’Brien) has spent the night at Maria’s (Samia Smith). Despite Maria’s protests that he is only staying with her until the baby is born, she can’t help but notice that they are growing closer.

When Norris (Malcolm Hebden) sacks the paper boy, Rita (Barbara Knox) makes Norris deliver the papers himself. After the Morning round nearly finishes Norris off, Ramsay (Andrew Sachs) steps in and offers to deliver the papers, much to Norris’ dismay.

John (Graeme Hawley) is shocked that Rosie (Helen Flanagan) has come to see him, but she remains calm and makes it clear to him who’s in charge. Rosie is gob-smacked when John announces that, although he knows it doesn’t change what he did, he wants to try and do right by Rosie by giving her the proceeds of the sale of his Grandmothers house; £150,000. He wants Rosie to do something positive with the money, but she leaves him under no illusions that it’ll be spent the only way that Rosie knows how – holidays and handbags. When Rosie gets home, Sally (Sally Whittaker) is annoyed to see that there is nothing wrong with her and she’s clearly been skiving. After getting the phone call from John’s solicitor that Rosie has been waiting for, she delights in letting Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) know that she’s been to prison to see him, much to Fiz’s disappointment.

Kevin (Michael Le Vell) lets Chesney (Sam Aston) wash a couple of cars to earn some extra money, and he opens up about the problems he’s having with Fiz. Kevin tries to get Chesney to see it from her point of view, and not to be too hard on her; you can’t choose who you fall for. Fiz decides to make a tape for John to send to him, but is disturbed when Chesney returns home. Fiz is relieved that Chesney doesn’t realise what she’s doing and offers to watch TV with him. Chesney softens. Maybe Kevin’s words got through?

Kevin watches from a distance when Molly (Vicky Binns) and Jason (Ryan Thomas) return from the gym, and starts to think that maybe there is more to their relationship than meets the eye. Later, in the toilet of the Rovers, Kevin corners Jason and accuses him of sleeping with Molly. Jason is disgusted at the accusation and puts Kevin in his place; he’d never sleep with his mates’ wife. Kevin realises that he’s made a fool of himself.

Gary (Mikey North) approaches Ted (Michael Bryne) to apologise for what happened. He explains that he intended to burgle the house, but he never meant for him to get hurt. Ted offers Gary his hand just as David (Jack P Shepherd) arrives and demands that Gary leave Ted alone. Will this feud ever get sorted?

Norris (Malcolm Hebden) is put out to find Ramsay (Andrew Sachs) and Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) enjoying a drink in the Rovers.

Sally’s (Sally Whittaker) not happy as Rosie (Helen Flanagan) throws another sickie. She points out she’ll lose her job if she’s not careful but Rosie’s blasé attitude leaves the Websters baffled. Sally’s left further confused when Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) reveals Rosie’s been to visit John in prison. Sally’s disbelieving, knowing how much Rosie hates John. But when Rosie arrives in the pub laden with shopping bags, she’s been out celebrating with Minnie after being told the £150k will be in her bank account tomorrow, Sally’s stunned. Rosie shocks everyone by revealing the truth about her new found wealth.

Meanwhile as the factory girls celebrate Janice’s (Vicky Entwistle) birthday in the pub they soon become aware of Rosie’s big news. The fracas continues when Luke (Craig Kelly) offers Rosie’s job to Janice as it’s clear Rosie doesn’t want it any more.

Fiz is left reeling from Rosie’s revelations. She phones the prison to get some answers from John but is horrified to hear he’s been placed on suicide watch.

Elsewhere Molly (Vicky Binns) picks up the account books from the garage and tells Kevin (Michael Le Vell) she’ll meet him in the gym after work. At the gym Molly detects an atmosphere between Kevin and Jason (Ryan Thomas). Kevin admits he accused Jason of fancying her. How will Molly react?

It’s the day of the 10k fun run and Molly’s (Vicky Binns) worried about it. She’s disappointed when Tyrone phones to say he can’t make the fun run as Jack’s train is delayed. But when Kevin (Micheal LeVell) offers to take her instead her spirits soar as she flirtily accepts. On the starting line Molly’s suffering from last minute nerves. Kevin however gives her plenty of moral support and to his cheers Molly finishes 10th in the race. Caught up in the moment Kevin hugs her. Telling her she’s amazing he’s clearly longing to kiss her. But will Kevin make his move on Molly?

Meanwhile Kevin tells Rosie (Helen Flanagan) she shouldn’t accept John’s money as it’s morally wrong. But Rosie thinks he’s mad and sets off on another shopping spree. So how will the Websters react when Rosie arrives back on the street parading her £3k handbag?

Tyrone’s furious but Molly’s sick of his behaviour. Pointing out Tyrone has no right to interfere she lays down the law telling Tyrone she’s invited Connie for tea on Monday and he’ll be there. Her earlier excitement now a distant memory Molly texts Kevin to thank him for a lovely day. Kevin’s left wondering if his feelings may be reciprocated after all.

Coronation Street where Rosie's (Helen Flanagan) puzzled to receive a prison visiting order from John (Graeme Hawley). Intrigued by what he wants, she tarts herself up and skips a day off work to find out what her former school teacher and kidnapper could possibly want.

When she arrives, she's stunned to the core by his offer: he's giving her the proceeds of sale from his grandmother's house - all £150,000 of it - by way of an apology for the misery he caused her last year. John insists that she put it to good use, but Rosie's idea of good use is worlds apart from John's...

These scenes air on Monday, June 15 at 8.30pm on ITV1.
