What Ever Happened To The Maternity Ward

I do not know if any of you ever thought of this, but since MABS and Mark left , we no longer seem to see any thing that deals with "pregancies" or "difficult child births".. ok granted lovely Joe helped deliver Daisha's baby..but ...there are no more story lines connected to the maternity ward any more,, is it just me that :hmm:is wondering about this and noticed it missing from the show ????

If we're going back that far, what happened to the paeds ward?

After Owen and Mubbs left, there was no other obs/gyna doctors left on that ward (that we were introduced to) so I guess it was a natural end to that part of the program.

I loved it when they had the kids ward, especially when Victoria Merrick worked on it, and with Kerry

Theres loads of wards that have dissapeared cos the docs and nurses who worked on them have left :(
I do miss them, it made the hospital more real

The paeds ward went yonks ago - think it got faded out really after Victoria died - and that woman (red hair - married to .... whathisface) left.

As for maternaty :( Sad times, i loved Mubbs and Owen :) I think that also just got faded out when the characters left.

Mubbs and Owen were great. Does anyone watch them outtake shows? Mubbs and Owen made soooo many mistakes. So funny.

Yeah they were hilarious. I wish they'd do some more outtake shows with holby clips in it.
