i think the cast went to the crossroads school of acting. :D. not a criticism as i love oaks and really enjoyed this episode. i like the fact this soap isn't up its own backside and doesn't take it self too seriously. bk is going a good job!

Hollyoaks has released a new behind-the-scenes video of the moment when Dodger Savage saves Maxine Minniver from the fire.

Yesterday evening's (September 26) Channel 4 airing saw Dodger save both Maxine and Sinead from a fire at the club, started by Freddie Roscoe.

E4's first look episode last night saw Dodger sleep with Maxine after he helped her out when she became homeless.

good week for 'oaks.' kieron richardson gave a brilliant performance as always. the scenes in the court were excellent. there aren't many young actors who have the ability and skill to pull this off.


there are a handful of good young actors in soap, jac josser and jamie borthwick spring to mind. emmerdale miss the talents of danny miller and now corrie have got rid of chris fountain and really only have alan halsall, find themselves lacking in that department.

glad ste and doug are back together. :)

The killings only started recently so it must be a new character, he is the highest authority so he will easily get the substance, he cleared everyone out so he could "complete tests". Also, they didn't want Will dead until he woke up, so perhaps it was something Will said, and the closest person of all staff is Dr Savage as he is Dirk's brother and was the only staff there to hear Will's allegations which motivated the hospital killer.

You can pull Hollyoaks apart a lot of the time, it is far from perfect, but when they get it right, boy do they get their message across. The Cancer storyline with Jade and Alfie has been brilliant, my heart is almost breaking for Alfie. It is powerful stuff.

What with Coronation Street bordering on the the silly and insulting, EastEnders having moments of brilliance, but often losing the plot completely, at times watching an episode can be a real chore and can be like wading through treacle and Emmerdale has just too many episodes, (8 last week) what else is left to blow up in that village?

Hollyoaks at times can be a fun alternative that is an easy watch and I would describe to people who don't watch as a cross between an ott American daytime soap, Crossroads with attractive people and the youthfulness of Saved by the Bell. It also throws up the odd surprise which isn't in a spoiler.

I wish more people would give it ago, you may find it becomes your new guilty pleasure? :thumbsup:

Definitely gone downhill since the tragic demise of Nico. She had only just started to get warmed up murdering people before her spree was cut short. One of all time fave soapy psychos. Her mother's daughter without a doubt.

Beautiful and moving scene at the end tonight, the Juliet storyline in Hollyoaks is tragic and so well done and every bit as moving as those of Lola in EastEnders.
