Neighbours star Matthew Werkmeister has revealed that he is "freaking out" following yesterday's announcement that Lily Allen is to film a cameo with the iconic soap.

The 17-year-old, who stars as Ramsay Street teenager Zeke Kinski, admitted that he will be starstruck when he films a scene with the singer next month.

"I'm freaking out. I'll be starstruck for sure but will try my hardest to stay professional!" Werkmeister told Australia's Herald Sun.

"I definitely want her autograph but will probably be too scared, so I'll ask someone to get it for me."

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that So You Think You Can Dance Australia judge Jason Coleman will also film a cameo with the series in June.
