Lyn Robinson Returns to Ramsay Street

Lyn Robinson, played by Janet Andrewartha, is returning to Ramsay Street to wreck havoc, so watch out Paul, if you think you’ve got a lot on your plate now, wait until Lyn hits the Street!
Janet Andrewartha, who played Lyn Robinson (Steph’s mum) from 1999 to 2006, made her final appearance on the show on 12 December 2006. She then returned for a brief stint in 2008, appearing in episodes screened in May and June of last year.

Returning to the Street as a guest for three months, Janet has already started filming and will be seen on screen later this year.

Former Neighbours star Janet Andrewartha is returning to the soap as Lyn Robinson for a three-month guest appearance, reports the show's official website.

Lyn's return to Ramsay Street will be the second time the actress has returned to the series since her departure in 2006. Last year, Andrewartha reprised her much-loved role for a brief guest stint.

When asked by website The Perfect Blend about rumours that producers were planning to bring back a former female resident, script editor Pete McTighe teased: "Watch this space. You’ll see an old favourite return to the street in the second half of 2009. Who I’ve missed like mad!"

Andrewartha, 56, has already resumed filming with the soap and will appear on Australian screens later this year.
