CHRIS Moyles’ Quiz Night is to return to Channel 4 — but its budget is being slashed.
The gobby Radio 1 DJ’s show brought in up to 1.5million viewers.
And C4 chiefs last week told production company Magnum Media they were very keen to bring it back.
A source said: “As with all our TV shows, we are cutting costs and have asked all producers to look at their budgets because of the credit crunch.
“Every channel and broadcaster is struggling.”
The show pits 35-year-old Moyles against celebrity guests as he puts up his own possessions as prizes.
While the winner gets to keep a bit of his home, the loser has to close the show with a karaoke song.
Celebrity guests on the last series included Patsy Kensit, Abbey Clancy, Denise Van Outen and Ashes to Ashes star Phillip Glenister.
Chris will be back on his Radio One breakfast show tomorrow after a holiday. Scott Mills has been standing in for him.
