Nadine Lewington to Leave

Inside Soap have revealed that popular HOLBY CITY actress Nadine Lewington is leaving the show next month.

Nadine joined the show in January 2007 as doctor Maddy Young.

The news comes as Maddy's former love interest, Dan Clifford, played by Peter Wingfield is set to return for a guest episode due to be screened on 26th May.

I'm so gutted she's leaving! One of the best characters and they so underused her. Now we're going to be left with pining Linden, dreary Daisha and creepy Mark on AAU.

I hope Maddy doesn't leave in a body bag but is whisked away by Dan and his golf clubs. Course knowing Holby...:rolleyes: I don't hold out much hope for a happy ending! :(
