Anyone else think Rex may not be dead?, OK so we heard from the doctor on the phone that Rex was dead but rumours have been flying around that he may not be dead and it could all be a hoax. I'm not really sure I just wondered what you all thought?, it may well be all a set up, after all we never actually saw Rex die we were just told. Stephen Culp has gone on record saying his character is dead, but he may well be kept in the dark by the producers or may have been told to say that.
Rex and Bree were such a brilliant couple with real chemistry if he has died then thats a real shame I feel a little let down, Stephen Culp was a brilliant actor.

It would be a good move for the doctor to fake Rex's death. I mean he thinks that Bree is trying to kill him! That said, could you really see Rex going along with that?

I have heard stories that it is Andrew that fakes the death, but Bree seemed sure that it was the doctor on the phone....

I guess we will have to wait and see.

the first episode in the second series will be shown 8 months after the last episode so we don't see rexs funeral

so i guess he cant come back..unless it was another body..as in hospitals there a quite a few dead bodies and they may have exchanged them...--i didnt see the episode but did they show his face???????

Yes, Bree actually sat Rex up in his coffin in the middle of his funeral to change his tie! So he is definetly dead!

We all know now that Rex is dead - he has been through a funeral with an open coffin, buried, dug up, autopsied and re buried in a less salubrious spot.

Look at the dates of the earlier posts - this was directly after series 1 ended.
