Home And Away actress Jessica Tovey has filmed her final scenes with the soap.

The 21-year-old, who starred as troubled Summer Bay resident Belle Taylor, told TV Week that she had concluded shooting with the series late last month, and admitted that her final day on set was "really, really sad".

"I feel like this is my farewell party," Tovey told the magazine at the Logie Awards afterparty.

Belle has been getting on my nerves for the past couple of weeks anyway, I enjoyed her when she wasn't a druggie

i didnt have any clue she was leaving, i always liked her and thought she played the druggie part really well. Love Aden and Belle one of the best Home and Away couples IMO along with, Ric/Maddie, Shane/Angel, Tasha/Robbie, Sally/Flynn and a few others

well that could very well be true, she did spent a lot of time at the development site, that caused cancer. it is a shame they used that story its a little predictable IMO

I too am sad she is leaving, specially as she is dying, I like her. Wish they had left it open for her to return one day if she (the actress) wanted a break.

if it was cancer it would be very progressive because her last scenes were filmed a month ago and there is no sign of her cancer....

Some cancers are not detected until a person is close to death. Don't know what type of cancer Belle has, also with all that has been going on in her life, Belle might have ignored any symptoms or she deliberately ignored them.

It's a very rare and agressive form of cancer. It's been confirmed on backtothebay.net that she does die of cancer.

OH MY GOD really???? Is it proper confirmed yeah.. is Back to the bay very reliable? I found Belle's character lately really annoying.. but I think I may cry if she dies of cancer lol!!!

well remember little joe (the boy rachel was close to) he came in with a lump on his knee and shortly after the diagnosis he was dead, it happens, flynn also didnt have a long time to suffer after he found out he had 2 month to live

I guess that in tv shows the characters die of cancer pretty quickly as they can hardly show them suffering over years on end, viewers would not really want to see that.
