Ive set up a paypal account as i want to start selling old stuff on ebay, ive entered my bank details etc and now its said i'll be getting a small charge (less than a pound) to my bank account which will take 3-5 working days to show up on my statement and then i have to enter what the charge is or something. what happens next? will i be able to start using it then?

Once you confirm the two deposits on paypal they will activate your account for you to use. The deposits are there to ensure that you own the bank account you have registered.

If you have online banking it should only take a couple of days to appear.

I can't remember if the activation is instant or if you have to wait a few hours. You'll probably get several emails from paypal about it. They send emails like there's no tomorrow :rolleyes:

Too much fraud on Paypal and Paypal aren't that helpful.

If I ebay anything the payment has to go direct to an account of mine.
