Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) demands that Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) stop trying to contact Daz. She tries to put up a fight but Andy stops any argument by telling her that Jack would be ashamed. In an effort to cover up the scandal before Diane returns, Andy asks Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) to keep quiet and she reluctantly agrees. Aaron (Danny Miller) tries to apologise to Victoria for telling Andy about her and Daz but she blames him for Daz’s departure and tells him to get lost. Victoria is at an all time low, but how will she recover?

Meanwhile, Debbie (Charley Webb) hears that there’s been a disturbance at Butlers and grows concerned that Andy has returned to his violent ways. After seeing Maisie (Alice Coulthard) looking after Sarah (Sophia Amber Moore) Debbie confides in Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) that she’s being refused access. Natasha offers financial assistance to fund a solicitor by way of saying sorry for using her at the shoot. Debbie is thankful for the option but wishes to go about things on her own. Instead Natasha asks Maisie to persuade Andy to allow access, but Maisie suspects her mother of wanting to cause trouble and tells her to back off. Later Debbie insists that she wants access but is defiantly told by Andy that she’ll never be Sarah’s mum. Infuriated, Debbie asks Natasha whether the offer of financial help is still open. Can Debbie secure full custody?

Meanwhile, Ashley (John Middleton) congratulates Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) on her conduct throughout her community service. After setting off for another day Laurel is awkward when her officer tells her that tomorrow she’ll be working in the village. During her day’s work Laurel happens upon an old war hero begging in the street. Taking pity on him Laurel offers some change but recognises the voice immediately when the beggar offers his thanks – it’s Eli (Joseph Gilgun). Laurel takes him for food and Eli is grateful to hear that Debbie is doing well. Laurel pleads with Eli to come home but he refuses and tells her not to share her discovery with the other Dingles. Can Laurel allow Eli to languish in the gutter?

Tuesday 28 April 7pm

Furious to receive a letter from Natasha’s solicitor, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Maisie (Alice Coulthard) confront Debbie (Charley Webb). Things get heated and Debbie dunks Maisie in a horse trough. As Andy tries to pull Debbie away she kicks him and has to be dragged away by Lisa (Jane Cox). Aware she may have ruined everything, Debbie returns home extremely low. She is shocked to find Cain (Jeff Hordley) awaiting her return. What has brought Cain back to Emmerdale?

Also, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) makes a new acquaintance through her community service; Lizzie (Kitty McGeever) a blind woman who uses her disability to abuse peoples trust. Laurel takes Lizzie for a drink in the café and when the former pays, Lizzie swipes part of the money and Laurel is forced to pay Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) twice. After a day working together Laurel tries to say her goodbyes but Lizzie guilt trips her into having a drink in the Woolpack. Laurel stops on the way to buy some groceries in the shop and along with Brenda, notices Lizzie stealing several items. Before they can confront her Lisa enters and recognises Lizzie as an old acquaintance. She forces Lizzie to pay for her items and Laurel also reclaims the money stolen from her. Will Laurel live to regret meeting Lizzie Lakely?

Meanwhile, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) insists that Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) can’t keep ignoring Daz’s disappearance but he is unflinching. Aaron (Danny Miller) makes another attempt to apologise to Victoria but she doesn’t listen. Determined not to give up Aaron happens upon Victoria standing on a bridge above some water. He dares her to jump and pretends not to care while walking away. Victoria sees through him and is touched to realise he still cares about her. Aaron and Victoria make friends when she apologises for the way she has treated him. Can Victoria put Daz’s runner behind her?

Wednesday 29 April 7pm

Debbie (Charley Webb) is happy having Cain (Jeff Hordley) back and he marches her straight round to Butlers to see Sarah (Sophia Amber Moore). With Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) out, Maisie (Alice Coulthard) struggles to contain Cain and Debbie as he gives Sarah a present. Andy rushes back from his work and confronts Cain. Cain warns him to let Debbie see Sarah. After they’ve gone Andy tells a worried Maisie that Cain is a psycho and his return changes everything. Later that evening the Dingles give Cain a hero’s welcome and he tells them he is out of prison for good and there to stay. Can Cain rebuild his family and sustain a life in the village?

Unwilling to hide from his past, Cain pays the Kings a visit. Jimmy (Nick Miles) demands he return their money, but Cain is keen to put the past behind them. Carl (Tom Lister) jokingly accepts but Jimmy is incensed and fronts up to Cain who laughs in his face. When Cain makes reference to Tom and Matthew’s deaths it becomes too much for Jimmy and he thumps Cain in the face. Cain gets to his feet and Debbie begs him to walk away. Instead Cain dares Carl to punch him and he duly does so. Carl continues to batter Cain without any response before Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Eli (Joseph Gilgun) step in. After beating Cain to a pulp, Carl and Jimmy leave but later they state their intention to kill Cain. Will the Kings exact the ultimate retribution?

Elsewhere, Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is shaken to receive a text from Faye (Kim Thomson) badgering him to get in touch. Mark ignores her but receives the shock of his life when Faye jumps out while he’s out riding. She demands to be treated better by him and Mark tells her he’ll be in touch. Debbie spots Mark with Faye while she’s driving back with Cain. Back home Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is worried with Mark’s strange behaviour and fears there is a problem in their relationship. Will Faye make the Wylde’s lives even more uncomfortable?

Thursday 30 April 7pm

Debbie (Charley Webb) nervously visits Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) and tiptoes around a conversation about her relationship with Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) to ascertain whether she should reveal her discovery the previous day. Debbie tentatively tells Natasha about seeing Mark with a lady. Natasha is furious as to what she is implying and orders her to leave. When Mark returns home from an errand Natasha pulls no punches in asking for an explanation. Natasha seemingly buys Mark’s story that he was giving an upset woman directions. They kiss and Mark is relieved to have covered his trail for now. How long can Mark keep Faye a secret?

Meanwhile, Debbie is unnerved when Cain (Jeff Hordley) is happy to step back from her custody battle for Sarah. Debbie has another run-in with Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and it’s obvious that the events of yesterday have made their rift even worse. Will Debbie’s plan for a legal solution to the custody battle be undermined by personal differences?

Elsewhere, Jimmy (Nick Miles) overhears Cain (Jeff Hordley) on the phone talking about getting hold of some money and asking for an hour to secure the funds. Jimmy tries to follow Cain and when he pulls in by some woods Jimmy eagerly follows him into the trees. Keeping his distance so as not to attract attention Jimmy is dismayed when he follows Cain into a clearing and loses sight of his enemy. After no luck searching for him Jimmy heads back to his car to find all his tyres have been slashed. Jimmy returns to the village shamefaced and Cain tells him he will have to be much cleverer than that if he wants to know where his money is. Will the Kings outsmart Cain and reclaim their fortune?

Friday 1 May 7pm

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is gutted to find out that Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) did not run an errand for her as she thought. As she finishes the call Mark returns home and Natasha fills him in on her conversation with the client. Mark admits that he paid Jimmy for the job but chooses not to dig any further despite wondering where her husband went. Mark accuses her of being paranoid but Natasha argues back that he’s the one acting strangely. Mark storms out and berates Debbie (Charley Webb) for interfering with his marriage before Cain (Jeff Hordley) saves the day. Natasha finds that Mark has warned Debbie away from the family and apologises to her. Natasha confides in Debbie that she will get to the bottom of Mark’s infidelity. What lengths will Natasha go to in order to find out the truth?

Also, acting on a request from Zak, Cain warns Aaron (Danny Miller) to stay away from Eli (Joseph Gilgun) stating that his cousin is bad news. Aaron acts like a big man in front of Cain but privately wonders whether he’s got a point. Eli explains that he’s found out about some red diesel they could steal from an abandoned farm, but Aaron is increasingly unsure about the idea. After they’re almost caught by the police, Aaron backs out of any further schemes with Eli, keen to impress Cain. Will Cain be a good influence on Aaron?

Elsewhere, Betty (Paula Tilbrook) is unimpressed with Sandy’s (Freddie Jones) letter. As Pearl (Meg Johnson) recites excerpts of the letter to the other villagers Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) asserts that it has a resemblance to the letter Jimmy (Nick Miles) sent to her. Nicola accuses Betty of theft and then notices Sandy, Jimmy and Doug (Duncan Preston) sharing a guilty look. She hauls Jimmy home for a dressing down and Sandy also gets nowhere trying to attract Betty’s attention.
