I'm disgusted to see that both SKYBET and WILLIAM HILL have both withdrawn their Free Bet Offers for todays Grand National in Aintree!
These bookmakers claim to offer free bets all year round, yet on the biggest day in the racing calendar and they withdraw their Free bet offers! Therefore my Top tip for the National is Don't Bet with Skybet or William Hill today because you won't see any free bet offers on their website.
Anyone got any tips for the big race later?
:hmm:
bambling minister is hot tipped this year
i love the grand national, bet every year on it! got my money on 3 horses this year so fingers crossed i get a win!!!
When in the Grand National? I haven't seen it in years, and I never bet.
With regards to Skybet, it horrifies me to see how many adverts there are for this service on Sky Sports.
Internet betting has helped to break up marriages and destitute families. Some weak people just don't know when to stop (although I know they are in the minority, there must be many more sensible gamblers).
I personally know of one man who started playing internet poker while his wife was working evenings to help with the already struggling family finances.
He lost over £50K, and because they were already in trouble (5 kids too) they lost their house. He also lost his job - he was a financial advisor!
The horrific thing ws that she knew absolutely nothing about it until the bailifs turned up at the door.

In the early 90's I worked in a casino and one story still stays in my mind. I worked in the restaurant and the restaurant manager told me about a young guy who used to come into another casino he worked in. The lad was in his 20's and worked in a bank. He started coming to the casino with work mates at the weekend but soon got hooked and was in the casino four or five times a week. He had a young family and got into so much debt his house was being reposessed. He ended taking his own life because he couldn't face telling his wife the trouble they were in.
