Tuesday

Anita's all of a panic when she comes face to face with her ex-bully, Gaz. He leaves her baffled, however, when he apologises for his malicious behaviour in the past. Later, Theresa distracts Anita as she rants about Lauren. Both girls are vexed that she's set Anita up to look like a bully. Anita attempts to prove her innocence by recording Lauren admitting the truth on her mobile phone. When Lauren realises just what Anita is up to, she snatches the phone and Anita runs in fear.
With Lauren in hot pursuit, it looks like she's in real trouble. At the last moment, though, Anita is shocked when she is saved by an unlikely hero - who soon puts Lauren in her place.
Carmel is petrified as she faces her biggest fear head on - potatoes. Frozen to the spot, Mercedes and Michaela have to talk her down. Just as they calm the situation, panic spreads through the entire room as a rat emerges in the McQueen kitchen. The girls, along with Malachy and Zak, retreat to the living room. Having joined the TA that day, Zak steps up to the challenge, but is sent running as his rat phobia kicks in.
Psyching himself up and with Malachy's help, Zak steels himself and decides to head up the rat catching operation in the house. With Carmel and Mercedes both making their excuses, Michaela and Malachy join Zak. The trio cover the whole house on their mission, causing destruction as they go.
Ash names the time and place for his bike race with Justin and an apprehensive Justin coolly accepts. It's clear, though, that he's dreading the prospect. Meanwhile, a suspicious Hannah tells Hayley and Leila that she's been having secret motorbike lessons to prove to Ash that she's not just a dizzy girl.
Meanwhile, Justin's feelings for Hannah are becoming noticeable as he bends over backwards to accommodate her needs in work. With Ash constantly antagonising him, Justin's hatred for him continues to grow.
Rhys and Hayley are getting on like a house on fire. They share music tastes and have a similar sense of humour. It is only when Hayley steps back into her wheelchair that Rhys is reminded of her disability. A shallow Rhys once again makes his excuses and leaves - it's apparent that he just can't see past her chair.

Wednesday

Justin's working on his bike when Hannah appears out of nowhere, offering her services. Hannah and Justin enjoy their time together and there's an obvious electricity between them. They agree to take the bike out for a test run together.
Justin's impressed by Hannah's natural ability and she eventually reveals that she's actually been taking lessons to prove herself to Ash. Nancy bumps into Ash in the SU Bar and in spite of her attempts to needle him, he makes an effort at forging some sort of friendship with her. She agrees to have a drink with him.
Justin and Hannah return to the SU Bar and Ash, feeling threatened, offers to take Hannah out for dinner. In the meantime, as Justin and Hannah work together, Nancy suggests that there is something between the pair of them. Hannah refutes the claim, but as they continue to work together, there's a moment between them. As their hands brush together, it seems that they'll finally kisS.
Jacqui and Mercedes are barely living at the McQueens' amid the rat infestation and as Malachy continues to tear the house to pieces in search of the vermin, tensions rise. Matters quickly come to a head when Myra unexpectedly returns home early. The girls explain to Myra about the rat problem and they all agree to move out until it's sorted.
Myra and Michaela go to Nana McQueen's, while Carmel and Theresa go to the Roys'. It occurs to Malachy that maybe the problem is being blown out of proportion and he suggests to Mercedes that there could be an advantage to having the rest of the family out of the house for a while…
Russ is worrying about how little involvement he has in Max's life and wonders whether or not it's even worth going to visit. Nancy reassures him that he's doing the right thing and should stick with it. When he finds Jacqui and Max in Tan & Tumble with nowhere to sleep for the night, Russ is incensed that Jacqui would consider camping out in a launderette with a baby. Jacqui points out that he hasn't been the most attentive dad, which makes Russ feel guilty. To Nancy's horror, Russ reacts the only way he can.
Theresa complains to Anita about Ste not paying her any attention and is seemingly oblivious to Anita's own problems with Lauren and Newt. Anita tries to open up but Theresa takes off to go and find Ste, leaving Anita alone. Out of nowhere, Gaz appears. Anita's instantly concerned but Gaz assures her that he's a changed man and claims that he's been attending counselling and feels remorseful for the way he treated her. He admits to having burned down Relish and Anita begins to wonder if he genuine about having turned over a new leaf.
Anita is quickly convinced that Gaz has changed and opens up to him about Ravi's bisexuality. Just as Russ walks past, Gaz has to dash off, forgetting that he's late for work. Later, as Bel tries to fix Anita's hair, Gaz sends Anita a text asking her to meet up again. As Anita goes to meet, Gaz she is shocked to discover that he may not be the reformed character he's claimed to have become.

Thursday

The day of the bike race has arrived and Justin is terrified of making a fool of himself in front of Hannah. He still can't ride properly and already feels like a loser before the race has even begun. Hannah knows that Justin doesn't stand a chance and fears he may hurt himself, so she tries to convince him not to race. Justin, however, is defiant.
Ash and Rhys taunt Justin about the race which only serves to make him more determined to compete. But when he sees how good Ash's riding is, he knows the race is as good as over. Justin retaliates by telling Ash that Hannah has been helping him fix his bike and gains one over on him.
In anger, Ash secretly tampers with Justin's bike before the race. He's later horrified when Hannah suddenly rides off on it, in a bid to prove that she can ride.
Justin realises what Ash has done and follows Hannah on Ash's bike, but it's not long before her bike packs in and Hannah is flung off, landing unconscious near a distraught Justin.
Anita is still shaken after Gaz's attack and tries to wash the remains of the paint from her hair. Unaware of what's happened, Theresa walks into the bathroom but is surprised when Anita has a go and throws her out. Theresa shrugs it off and heads downstairs to Bel and Carmel.
Later, she overhears what she presumes to be chatter and laughter at her expense. She heads out but soon runs into Gaz and with no chance of avoiding him, she is forced to face her bully once more. Gaz demands Anita to get on her knees and beg him to stop bullying her, but cruelly rubs a meat pie all over her face.
Later at the Roys', Anita arrives home in a state, much to the shock of Bel, Carmel, and Theresa. Shaken and upset, Anita will only speak to Theresa and eventually admits what Gaz has done…
Keen to show her gratitude for letting them stay, Carmel decides to cook the Roys' dinner. She enlists the help of a reluctant Theresa, who is fed up and bored living with the family. Carmel decides to make lasagne but takes a joking Theresa seriously when she questions whether the Roys can eat Italian food.
Bel arrives home and feels a bit put out watching Carmel root around her kitchen. Seeing the recipe book, she puts Carmel straight, telling her that she's the cook of the house and won't need her help. Carmel recoils in horror as Bel takes out a bag of potatoes, amusing them all with her fear.
Nancy is totally fed up with Jacqui living with her and Russ. Jacqui offends Nancy when she tells her the dinner she cooked has upset her stomach and then heads out for the day, leaving Russ to mind Max. Russ is made up to have time with his son alone and does his best to keep Jacqui happy. This doesn't go unnoticed by Nancy, though, who feels Russ is being used by Jacqui when it's convenient for her and that she'll only let Russ see Max when she's getting her own way.
Jacqui laps up being waited on by Russ and he's more than happy to make a fuss of her if it means he gets to see Max.

Friday

Hannah's in a bad way in hospital after the bike crash. Justin, who knows that Ash tampered with the bike, tells Ste exactly what happened and Ste urges him to go to the police. A guilty Ash manages to get in there first, though, and tells Hannah and her family that Justin messed with the bike before the race as he's jealous of his and Hannah's relationship. Everyone, especially Hannah, is shocked and as soon as an innocent Justin arrives at the hospital, he's thrown out.
As backup, Ash convinces Rhys to lie and claim Justin admitted what he'd done to him. The pair head round to the council flat and although Rhys starts the fight with Justin, he comes off worse. Justin realises he's made a huge mistake hitting Rhys, while a devious Ash knows he's deliberately landed him in more trouble.
Carmel worries she may have offended the Roys and their religion when Bel catches her praying. She admits to Bel that she's not the devout Christian she once was after everything that's happened. She goes on to say that she'd normally cook a traditional Good Friday dinner for the McQueens.
Reluctantly, Bel offers the Roys' to hold the dinner and a grateful Carmel immediately begins preparing. Myra drags along an unimpressed Theresa, Mercedes and Malachy and insists that they stay for the meal. Carmel, who's adamant that she'll overcome her potato fear, grabs a spud and chops in half. However, she cries out in shock when she finds the face of Jesus inside. She runs out to Myra and the others who are mostly bemused but Carmel and Myra are sure this is a message of hope sent from above and that the Pope should be informed.
Amused, Malachy and Mercedes realise there's money to be made from such images but for Carmel, it's a miracle and her faith is fully restored.
Anita is still upset after Gaz rubbed food in her face yesterday and refuses to leave her room. She's embarrassed that her family will discover what's been going on. A worried Bel tries to get Ash to speak to her but he refuses as he's preoccupied with Hannah's accident. Ravi decides to confront Gaz himself but is shocked by Gaz's claims that he and Anita are a couple and that she's told him that Ravi is bi.
Ravi returns home and has a go at Anita, who's clearly upset and hurt that Ravi would believe Gaz. Anita breaks down and tells Ravi exactly what Gaz has done, leaving Ravi guilty and furious.
Later, Ash and Ravi find Gaz and Ravi warns him off Anita by giving him a dig. When Ravi tries to reassure Anita that Gaz won't bother her any more, she becomes angry and tells Ravi he's only served to make things worse.
Loving having his son around, Russ is still making a fuss of Jacqui to keep her happy, while she and Max are still living with them. Nancy, however, is still not pleased with the arrangement and is furious when she returns home with Russ to find that Jacqui has rearranged the flat. Jacqui argues that their home is much warmer and homely with leopard print throws and fairy lights and is better without Nancy's old books.
Russ knows that Nancy is angry but still tries to keep Jacqui sweet and compliments her on her efforts. Jacqui is furious, though, when Nancy suggests that Russ is trying it on and accuses him of working his way through the McQueen family.

Why would Rhys lie for Ash after all his sister Hannah is in hospital because of Ash

He is probably sucking up to him, so he looks good, why wont anyone believe Justin, probably because of his past.
