Well known Australian actor Jeremy Sims has joined the cast of Home and Away for a 5 week guest stint.

Little details are available on his character except he plays another of departing resident Roman's (Conrad Coleby) old friends from his SAS days.

Roman's mate Gardy makes an interesting entrance into The Bay this week. Hoping that he might have the key to help him unlock the reason for his blindness, Roman phones Gardy.

Played by Jeremy Sims, Gardy is a fascinating character. He manages to push the 'hot buttons' of quite a few residents, especially Miles and Nicole.

More is revealed about Roman's days in the SAS, but will it cure his blindness?
