Ronnie is supposed to find out on Mother's Day. Although Peggy marries Achie with Ronnie and Roxy as bridesmaids, so I'm not sure how this works out.

In EastEnders, the Mitchells are thrown into a state of worry in a few weeks when Peggy (Barbara Windsor) collapses during her local election campaign debate speech. As Archie (Larry Lamb) and Pat (Pam St Clement) visit her in hospital, Archie's concerned that his bride-to-be's cancer may have returned.

With the doctors looking for signs of a minor stroke, Archie attempts to reassure her that it's more than likely stress-induced. Concerned for Peggy's health, Archie issues her with an ultimatum - drop the campaign or the wedding's off. Which will Peggy choose?

i was thinking that. i thought the wedding was the beginning of april and then peggy and the rest of them found out shortly afterwards. theres no way if the truth is out on mothers day that peggy would marry archie and then get rid of him

Peggy collapses
Airs on Monday, March 16 2009 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

After being arrested for being suspected prostitutes, Ronnie and Roxy's picture has been splashed over the front page of the Walford Gazette. Peggy, meanwhile, has her local election campaign to think about, and her rival Mohinder informs her of a debate that is taking place that night. Despite Ronnie accusing her of caring more about the election than her family, Roxy and Dot try to persuade her that she's doing the right thing. Reassured, she prepares for the enormous task ahead.

Later, at the debate, Peggy gets off to a floundering start. However, when she sees Ronnie turn up at the venue, her mood is lifted and the situation takes a turn for the better. Talking from the heart, she delivers a speech which is a resounding success with the gathered local residents. Back at The Vic, Archie's brimming with joy at his wife-to-be's accomplishment. However, just as he raises a glass to her success, Peggy collapses…

Meanwhile, Jack's not happy when he sees Danielle with his daughter Amy. Roxy's unsure whether to accept Danielle's offer to babysit, while Ronnie suggests that Danielle should stay away from babies as it could bring back painful memories of her recent abortion. Danielle's not impressed in the slightest and heads to Charlie's summerhouse. Taking a tin of paint, she returns to the Square and makes a beeline for Ronnie's flat.

Elsewhere, Ronnie tells Jack that Roxy doesn't want his financial help, but he can see that Roxy's unsure about the decision; Shirley and Heather prepare for the St Patrick's Day celebrations at The Vic; Billy begins to question where Jay's living when Mo shows him postcards from Las Vegas; Heather tries to kiss Minty, but Minty's forced to reveal that he's met someone else; and Jane's watching a Bollywood film with Masood, but their night is interrupted by Ian, who's prepared a romantic meal to apologise for 'boobgate'.

Ronnie and Danielle come to blows
Airs on Tuesday, March 17 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Ronnie's shocked to return to her flat to find the words 'Evil Cow' daubed on her front door in red paint. Archie, Billy and Roxy, meanwhile, pay Peggy a visit in hospital following her collapse in The Vic, where Danielle's left babysitting. As Ronnie and Pat arrive, Archie's preoccupied by the horrific thoughts that Peggy's cancer may have returned. He tries to convince himself and his bride-to-be that it's probably stress-induced. When Ronnie returns to the Square to collect a few things for Peggy, she's immediately panicked when she can't find Danielle or Amy anywhere.

While Ronnie's out searching for them, Danielle returns to The Vic with Amy after a walk in the park. Ronnie's relieved when she finally tracks them down. As they talk, Danielle admits that she can't stop thinking about the baby that was growing inside her a couple of weeks ago, before asking Ronnie about the short time she spent with her daughter. At the hospital, a worried Archie gives Peggy an ultimatum - call off the campaign or the wedding's off. Back at The Vic, the discussion between Ronnie and Danielle intensifies and when Danielle calls her an 'evil cow' Ronnie realises she's found her graffiti artist.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's down because Theo's not called her recently, but Patrick's silently pleased that the mystery man is staying away. Unbeknown to Chelsea, Lucas had agreed to set up a meeting between Theo and Patrick, but he hasn't delivered on his promise. Chelsea's constant praise for Theo prompts Lucas to suggest that she call him and invite him over for a bite to eat. Patrick's later unsettled when Chelsea confirms the dinner plans and reminds him that Theo still wants to chat with him about his 'research'.

Elsewhere, Max wants to see Lauren; Billy confides in Pat that he doesn't know where Jay's living and could never forgive himself if something were to happen to him; and Max admits to Tanya that he still loves her, before secretly rifling through her address book.

Theo has dinner with Patrick and his family
Airs on Thursday, March 19 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Danielle runs away from Ronnie following their confrontation and resolves to leave Walford for good. On returning to the Slaters', Danielle's taken aback when Charlie - completely unaware of its contents - hands back the locket she binned months ago. After destroying a recent picture of Ronnie, Danielle puts the locket around her neck and heads out of the house. She bumps into Roxy, who's heading to R&R to pick up Jack's latest 'maintenance payment'. Taking the replacement credit card, Roxy leaves a photo of Amy behind.

Later, Archie's making uncharacteristic attempts to bond with Ronnie. He admits that he regrets many things in his life, but he's now the happiest he's been in a long time. Ronnie goes to R&R to pick up a bottle of champagne but is puzzled when she finds Roxy at the club. Danielle, meanwhile, is searching for Ronnie and when she walks into The Vic, Archie's eyes are immediately drawn to the locket, prompting him to question its origin.

Meanwhile, Patrick's unhappy with Lucas for encouraging Chelsea to continue seeing Theo, but Denise is over the moon that Chelsea could have met 'the one'. Theo arrives for dinner and while they're eating, conversation soon turns to his research. Theo claims that all young black people should have some idea about their history, which is why the book he's researching for is of great significance. Patrick's unease is broken when he, Theo and Lucas head across to The Vic for a drink. While they're there, Patrick reluctantly agrees to meet the author of Theo's literary piece.

Elsewhere, Peggy decides to carry on with her election campaign despite her recent health scare and Archie's ultimatum; Max 'bumps into' a random woman called Polly; and Billy asks Jay to return home.

Archie makes a shocking realisation
Airs on Friday, March 20 2009 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

Archie can do nothing else but stare at Danielle's locket. Slowly but surely, he begins to realise who the young lady standing in front of him actually is - his granddaughter. As Danielle reveals that the locket is a keepsake with a picture of her mother inside, Archie's worst fears are confirmed when he clicks open the locket to find an old photograph of Ronnie...

Over at R&R, Ronnie's unsure as to why Roxy's there. Roxy, however, lies that she's there to see her and when she later claims that their dad is waiting for her, Ronnie's suspicions are further sparked. Taking the envelope, Ronnie finds the credit card and sees the photo of Amy that Roxy had left for Jack. It's not long before Roxy's accusing Ronnie of being jealous of baby Amy.

Furious at her sister's claims, Ronnie heads back to The Vic, smashing the bottle of champagne on the way. She's further aggravated when she finds Archie and Danielle talking in the street.

Elsewhere, Max invites Polly back to his house and as talk turns to her job, Tanya calls. Max, however, brushes Tanya off and claims that he's busy. As Polly and Max kiss, it's clear that all Max wants to do is talk. Just who or what is Polly?
