Evangeline Lilly will not be leaving Lost, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Recent rumours suggested Lilly, who plays Kate Austin in the cult series, was due to leave the show before it reaches its conclusion in May 2010.
"We have no idea how this rumour got started," Lilly's agent told the magazine. "Whoever started it didn't call us or ABC to verify the validity of it - for which there is none."
An ABC source also confirmed the actress is under contract with Lost through the sixth and final season.
Lilly's co-star, Rebecca Mader, recently told of her disappointment when she learned she had been axed from the show.
