Ross Kemp has admitted that some of his past acting roles have been "dreadful".
The actor claimed that his brief return to BBC One soap EastEnders in 2006 was more about filling his time than furthering his passion for performing.
"I wasn't working at the time," he told Q magazine.
"I like to work. Admittedly my quality control may not be that of other actors but I'm not as talented as other actors."
Kemp went on to reveal that his portrayal of Sergeant "Henno" Garvie in ITV1 drama Ultimate Force should not be seen as an accurate depiction of the SAS.
"If you look at it as I did, as The A-Team for the 2000s, then it wasn't. It was quite tongue-in-cheek. I called it 'Ultimate Farce'," he added.
Former EastEnders co-star Barbara Windsor recently admitted that she hoped to see Kemp return to the soap in the near future.
I can see some people agreeing with his statement :)
