Monday, 9 March 2009, 7:30PM - 8:00PM
Joe (Reece Dinsdale) is feeling pressure from all sides. David (Jack P Shepherd) wants him to give him his job back now he has the new kitchen contract but Joe is worried that he hasn't even got the cash to buy the raw materials for the job. Gail (Helen Worth) tries to help Joe out but he is too proud to accept and throws the offer back in her face. Eventually Joe can take no more and decides to pay Len (Conor Ryan) a visit to get the deal back on track - just as David walks in and finds them shaking hands.
Leanne (Jane Danson) tells Janice (Vicky Entwistle) that she has decided to accept the restaurant manager's job in Leeds in order to get away from Peter (Chris Gascoyne). Janice is upset as is Peter who infuriates Leanne by getting Simon (Alexander Bain) to beg her to stay. Upset at Simon's childish pleas Leanne says a tearful goodbye and leaves Weatherfield.
Becky (Katherine Kelly) is determined to do everything right in the run up to her wedding and tells Steve (Simon Gregson) that she has decided not to have a hen night as she doesn't trust herself - opting instead for a quiet night in with Roy and Hayley.
Elsewhere Dev's (Jimmi Harkishin) Uncle Umed (Harish Patel) arrives from India and Liz (Beverly Callard) offers a grateful Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) the cleaner's job at the Rovers.
Monday 9 March 8.30pm
It's a night of tears, accustations and revelations at the Platts and by the end of the night Joe (Reece Dinsdale), David (Jack P Shepherd), Gail (Helen Worth) and Tina (Michelle Keegan) know a lot more about each other than they thought possible.
David is stunned when Len Windass (Conor Ryan) gleefully explains how he got Joe the kitchen contract in exchange for getting Tina to change her story in court. Furious David storms home and tells Gail and Tina about the bribe, but that's just the tip of the iceberg as first Tina's abortion secret is revealed followed by Joe discovering that David tried to kill his own mother and topped off with the news that Joe only moved in with Gail as he'd been evicted from his flat - can the two couples survive or will the house of cards come tumbling down with them all inside?
Uncle Umed is making himself at home and is surprised when he overhears a conversation between Tara (Ayesha Dharker) and Jason (Ryan Thomas). As the pair discuss Jason refitting Dev's (Jimmi Harkishin) shop to turn it into an art gallery Umed (Harish Patel) gets the wrong end of the stick and is convinced they are having an affair.
Peter (Chris Gascoyne) is still in a state following Leanne's departure and no amount of talking from Ken (William Roache) is going to make the situation any better.
Liz (Beverly Callard) tries to have a heart to heart with Lloyd (Craig Charles) about their relationship but ends up dumping him after he fails to convince her that he has no problem with their age difference.
Wednesday 11 March 7.30pm
Becky (Katherine Kelly) is counting the days till her wedding and amuses Steve (Simon Gregson) with her efforts to memorise her last few hours as a single woman. Having given in to Liz's insistence that she has a hen night Becky excitedly arrives at the Rovers with Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) - just in time to hear half the pub, including Lloyd (Craig Charles), having a bet on the wedding not happening. Devastated she goes to find Steve who wastes no time in telling his mum and his best friend what he thinks of them and barring them from the wedding.
The fallout from the previous night is still being felt with Tina (Michelle Keegan) telling David (Jack P Shepherd) that it is over and Joe nowhere to be found. Unaware that Gail (Helen Worth) and her dad have actually split up Tina confides in Gail about her dad's previous problems with depression and asks her to take care of him whilst she is not around.
Ken (William Roache) tells Peter (Chris Gascoyne) that he has to stay off the booze and start behaving like a responsible adult for Simon's sake. Peter takes it on board and in a bid to prove that he is a good dad he buys Simon (Alexander Bain) a pet rabbit - but he's less than impressed by Simon's desire to call it Leanne.
Meanwhile Ken (William Roache) is feeling guilty about his kiss with Martha and tells Ted (Michael Byrne) about his turmoil. Ted tells him that he is going to have to make a decision about what he does next.
Friday 13 March 7.30pm
It's Friday the 13th and Becky (Katherine Kelly) is determined to make sure her wedding day goes to plan. Liz (Beverly Callard) is desperately trying to apologise as Steve (Simon Gregson) gets ready at the pub but he insists that they are not welcome.
Keen to try and make ammends Liz (Beverly Callard) and Lloyd (Craig Charles) decide to prepare a surprise wedding reception for the happy couple.
Meanwhile over at Roy's Rolls Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) and Natasha (Rachel Leskovac) are putting the finishing touches to the bride's dress, hair and make-up. Becky looks an absolute picture in her dream dress but her nerves start to get the better of her and she knocks back the champagne glass after glass. Slightly tiddly she panics that Steve is about to see her as she leaves and dashes to the builders' yard to hide but that's where things start to go wrong and as she rips her dress. Roy (David Neilson) and Hayley start to wonder if they will ever get her to the registry office on time!
Elsewhere Gail (Helen Worth) is worried about Joe (Reece Dinsdale) and shocked when she finds him dishevelled in the lock-up. Joe is overcome with emotion as she hugs him and asks him to come home.
Tara (Ayesha Dharker) shows Dev (Jimmi Harkshin) her extravagent plans for the art gallery, prompting him to suggest that they need to cut back on expenditure.
Luke (Craig Kelly), meanwhile, is trying to put pressure on Tom (Philip Mcginley) and Maria (Samia Smith) to sell him their share of Ladrags.
Friday 13 March 8.30pm
Roy (David Neilson) and Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) are desperately trying to get Becky (Katherine Kelly) to the wedding but whilst they are at the factory trying to fix her dress she hears about the fight that Karen and Tracy had on the roof. High on champagne and adrenalin she heads for the roof and bursts into song spraying the street with champagne like a formula one winner.
Steve (Simon Gregson) meanwhile is getting increasingly worried about where his bride to be has got to and is relieved when she finally arrives at the registry office - even though she is having to be held up by Roy - and the couple prepare to tie the knot.
Back at the Rovers Liz (Beverly Callard) and Lloyd (Craig Charles) wait excitedly for the newlyweds to arrive and Liz is thrilled when Lloyd publicly announces that Liz is his girlfriend.
One couple still struggling to get things back to normal are Joe (Reece Dinsdale) and Gail (Helen Worth). She pleads with him to give the relationship another go and tells him she knows all about the depression but Joe doesn't seem to want to listen.
As Luke (Craig Kelly), Maria (Samia Smith) and Tom (Philip McGinley) meet to discuss the future of Ladrags Tony (Gray O'Brien) walks in and is angry to discover that his nemesis is trying to muscle in on that business too. Tony decides to offer Maria some business advice of his own and she is surprisingly receptive, apologising for thinking badly of him in the past.
