ITV Broadcasting is to review all episodes of The Jeremy Kyle Show following orders from Ofcom.
Late last year, a viewer complained that an interviewee directed the 'C' word at the audience as he came on stage.
After investigating the incident, Ofcom said the expletive was 'clearly audible'.
"The ['C'] word is a clear example of the most offensive language. Its use in a
daytime talkshow was highly offensive and unacceptable," the regulator said today.
This is not the first time The Jeremy Kyle Show has faced complaints over swearing. Last summer, ITV aired a Scotsman using the 'C' word because censors could not understand his accent.
