Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro have been confirmed to return for comedy sequel Meet The Little Fockers.

The third instalment in the franchise is currently being penned by John Hamburg, who previously worked with Stiller on Along Came Polly.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot will revolve around the children of Gaylord "Greg" Focker (Stiller) and his wife Pam Byrnes (Teri Polo), and the couple's continuing attempts to please disapproving father-in-law Jack (De Niro). Owen Wilson, who had cameos in the first two films as Pam's ex-lover Kevin Rawley, is expected to have a larger role in the new film.

Director Jay Roach will not return to helm the third film because he is busy with comedy romp Dinner For Schmucks. Peyton Reed (Yes Man), David Wain (Role Models) and Paul Weitz (About A Boy) are all being considered to take over.

I think these films are hilarious in parts

Meet the Fockers is sooo much better than Meet the Parents, I think.

Can't wait for this :D If I remember correctly Pam was pregnant at the end of the last film and Greg had previously managed to let a baby get a whisky bottle stuck to its hands or something.

Both films were really funny and "Little Fockers" could be aswell as long as the jokes are new and not been recycled from the first two films. Hope Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Striesand come back for the third film.
