Hi-De-Hi! star Diane Holland has died at the age of 78.
The actress, who played dance instructor Yvonne Steward-Hargreaves in the BBC sitcom, passed away on January 24 after suffering from bronchial pneumonia.
Holland started her career in music theatre before going on to appear in Crossroads, Casualty and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em. In her later years, she performed Christmas recitals at the Royal Opera House in London.
Speaking about her passing, agent Bo Keller said that she was "extremely kind hearted" and he would "miss her very much".
"She was a real trooper. You could throw anything at her and she'd do it," he told the BBC.
"If any of the youngsters coming in today were like her in terms of attitude, this would be a wonderful profession to be in."
A family funeral will be held on February 28 with a public memorial following in the spring.
RIP Diane
