Kirk Sutherland is stunned when his girlfriend Julie Carp tells him she thinks she is pregnant.

In an emotional episode next month, he arrives home and spots an opened testing kit on the table.

Shocked Kirk (Andrew Whyment, 27) asks Julie (Katy Cavanagh, 35) what the result was. 

And she replies: “I wasn’t going to tell you until I was 100% but I am sure I am pregnant.”

A Corrie insider said last night: “Although one of the unlikeliest fathers in the show, Kirk would definitely be one of the best.

“He would dote on a baby every second of every day.”

Perhaps I'm just having a blonde moment (it has been known!!) but if the testing kit is open, and Kirk asks Julie what the result was, why does she say she's sure she is pregnant? The test would either say negative or positive, no?

The pregnancy kits can give wrong results, perhaps Julie wanted to wait until she had seen a doctor.

Corrie sexpot Tina McIntyre will hook up with Jason Grimshaw — to the fury of her ex-boyfriend.
Tina is dumped by David Platt when she refuses to lie in court for him.

The kebab shop worker then hops into bed with the builder and love blossoms.

David finds out and is furious, especially as Jason is still married to his sister Sarah Louise.

A source said David (Jack P Shepherd) does not notice their romance as he is sure Tina will get with Gary Windass (Mikey North).

The ITV1 insider added: “Jason’s still heartbroken after Becky broke off their engagement, so he and Tina are a shoulder for each other to cry on.

“David is devastated. But it’s not long before it turns to fury.”

He tells pal Darryl after finding out: “I felt like machine gunning everyone.

He launches a bid to destroy Jason (Ryan Thomas). The source added: “David is a troubled man and losing his girlfriend to his sister’s husband sends him over the edge.
