CHRIS Tarrant’s new game show is so stressful worried bosses are checking contestants to make sure they aren’t going to have a heart attack.

Anyone who wants to appear on The Colour Of Money — where a whopping £100,000 prize money is up for grabs — has to go through a stringent medical.

And it includes an ECG test to make sure their ticker can take the strain.

But there’s one more thing to get contestants’ and viewers’ pulses racing — Chris’s glamorous assistant, Sky Sports News beauty Millie Clode.

An insider said: “We designed the show to be stressful but we’d no idea people would react like this. It’s really tense. It’s also really, really hard and Chris loves winding his contestants up, just like on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? He’s the king of tension.”

The ITV show features 20 different coloured cash machines all loaded with between £1,000 and £20,000.

The contestant first chooses a target amount and then picks ten cash machines to play with.

Every minute each machine spills out £1,000 and the contestant must yell stop before it runs out of cash.

By the end of the run they must hit their target exactly, or leave with nothing. The show starts later this month.
