Holby City just isn't the same without Peter Wingfield's character Dan Clifford... so it's lucky he's coming back!

The actor, currently causing mayhem with Jack Bauer in 24, will be returning (briefly) for a sensational storyline in the spring.

Surgeon Dan was last seen breaking doctor Maddy's heart, so perhaps he's coming back to declare undying love.

Then again, he might have just forgotten his keys.

YAYYYYY :D Even if it is briefly :D.

Though, even though I love Dan/Maddyness, he better not go near her :lol:. I don't want him breaking her heart AGAIN. And I do not want Maddy leaving either. So best he steers clear of her :p.

I like to think so :p But I can see how he may not be to everyones tastes :p.
Think Kasple is rather keen too :p. I mean if he came to either of our doors.. we wouldn't turn the door on him. In fact, we'd probs knock him out - from our leoping on to him... but ya know.. that's just us *coughs*.

I think if you had seen his character from the start/near the start.. you would have fallen in love with him... he's one of those I think..

The first episode was hilarious. He stood up his wife at the altar and she came looking for him, started throwing cutlery at him and tore up his clothes! :lol: :p
