Anyone use dreamweaver for websites? im so confused and cant work out how to make multipage sites, i usually use FrontPage but fancied a different programe as FP always feels un-professional
Ive used it before when I did DIDA ( Dipola in digital applicastions) and it was a pain!
Have you created a template?

Hiya, when i first got it (and for my ICT coursework) I used these tutorials
http://www.teach-ict.net/software/dreamweaver/dreamweaver.htm
as they are easy to understand, I think :)

At the moment i am trying to create a template but can't work out how
and as ive only used FP i dunno if it is the same in all web design progs, but in FP you have to link pages up in a tree diagram (bit like a family tree) for it to even work as a multi-page website, is this the same in DW? if so how do i do it? or is there something else i have to do??

Does Virgin have an FTP programme they suggest you use. Its strange they dont like Dreamweaver as its an industry standard

I dont think its Virgin not liking DW i think its DW not liking virgin cos no matter what i type in the boxes it says its wrong.
Virgin does suggest one yes but i have read that virgin does not actually support the one it suggests
I know this might sound silly but are you sure you have entered the correct ftp settings when trying to upload your files.
