i read an article on msn today about resurrecting old gadgets, and it got me thinking, are there any gadgets which have now disappeared that you would like seen resurrected?

I have three tapes: Spice, Spiceworld and a Barbie tape :lol:
I'd love to have a walkman again though :)
I still have a Gameboy :p.. Pokemon Red all the way. Haha.
I still have an old Playstation too :D
I want a Nintendo 64.. my best friend's brother had one when we were younger and only ever played like, 2 games: Banjo Kazooii (sp?) and Super Mario :p

i forgot about walkmans, i had one of those, and loads of tapes with stuff i recorded off the radio lol! i had a discman as well

lol yeh! i always wanted one but was never allowed one! :( i got my cousins old one years later lol!
I had a tamagotchi and you could have like 8 different pets - not at the same time, but you got the choice - i loved it; but i dropped it down the toilet :(

Loved them. My parents got me one at the seaside once. I cried when the batteries ran out. My cousins clearly weren't as big a fans; they took theirs on holiday and left them in the hotel!
I always wanted a Sega Dreamcast.
I cried when my Tamagotchi (I called them cyber pets..) died. I was inconsolable. Same as when my dogs ran away on a computer game called Dogz. I think there's a DS game for it but the dogs aren't cartoony like they used to be :searchme:
I really want a Tamagotchi/cyber pet now :(

They still do tamagotchi's? My sister had one like last year I think it was.
We got a Gameboy, my old one, still works - WOW! Looool :lol:
Walkman, have a broken one lying around.. Memories!
VHS - We have one still.. Qutie a few mates was talking about this actually and some of them have it too!
Ahh would like to see a good old camera again :)

We've got a Nintendo 64 got it in Game Station for a tenner about four years ago, they were selling the games for 3 quid.

Yeahh tamagotchi's are still about :D I see them everywhere, my brother had one, but never got a loko in when I was around :p
I had a nintendo 64 years ago and I remember playing this game with a lizard... it was so difficult! I thin we ended up getting rid of it.
Whats a sega megadrive? and the dream one?
I had a sega type thing when I was younger too and it was massive and grey and you put the game into the top of the console, I always used to play this Adams Family one.

Oo love tamagotchi's haha. I had so many of them, cos I kept losing/breaking them.
Stil got an old playstation :D I still play on it, love it. But hard to find games for it. Have found a website now though, and as soon as I get some money I'm buying loads of games for it haha!!
Used to love the Postman Pat game on the commodore 64 when I was little though. Wish our Commodore still worked. I want to play Postman Pat. I can't even remember what it was about, but I loved it. Probs hate it now though :lol:.
I want a walkman too haha. I got lots of old tapes. Was listening to one the other day though and my gosh, you can definately see the quality difference. Haha.

I had an orange binatone games console. It had tennis, football etc - all looked the same you hit a moving dot from one side to the other with a moving dash!
Happy days.

My younger brother had one of those - fab - the last video games that I actually could play, lol.
He had a ZX81, ZXspectrum, BBC micro, Commadore 64 in quick succession. He also had an atari, sega mega drive, playstation 1,2,3 and he currently has an x box 360 and a Wii - he is 39, lol
I stopped at the binatone. But I do have a Macbook and an ipod.
My gadgets tend to be kitchen ones - I have a pasta maker, a pasta drier, a mandolin, an ice cream maker etc etc These do not tend to go out of fashion, lol. But they do take up a lot of cupboard space.

My nephew's the same Trin he has had all the game console from SuperNes, Ninetendo64, Specturm, Gamecube, Gameboy right through to Playstation 1,2,3 xbox and Wii. He buys them all and the bizarre thing is he blames me for letting him play my Atari when he was a kid. I gave him the Console and about 30 games after having it for four years. The poor soul didin't have it a month when his junkie f@@k of a stepdad went and sold the lot for drugs.

My Ps1 broke. I think the older, big ones are more reliable but they didn't do those any more when I got mine. It bothered me at the time but now it's fine because I can just play the games on my Ps2.
I really want a tamagotchi now too.
