The Rolling Stones will embark on a tour of the US later this year, according to the Daily Express.
Plans for a tour allegedly began when the proposed Faces reunion fell apart, leaving guitarist Ronnie Wood free to play with the Stones.
A source said of the potential gigs: "There is this offer for a US tour on the table. It's a good offer. They may be well into their 60s but the lads can still out-rock most of the bands around today.
"They live well. Mick is a very healthy eater and Keith has only organic meals. They are in great shape for their ages. They live for performing so they will relish being back on the road. It's what they first got into the game to do."
The Rolling Stones have toured extensively on 38 occasions, with their last being 2007's 'Bigger Bang'.
I expect that they will stop performing when they are all dead and not before :D
