The music video for Michael Jackson's hit single 'Thriller' will be turned into a Broadway show, Variety reports.
Theatre impresario James L. Nederlander has secured the musical rights to the pop icon's album Thriller and will use songs from the 1982 LP and 1979's Off The Wall in the New York show.
The story will take inspiration from John Landis's 14-minute 'Thriller' promo, which saw Jackson transform into a werewolf while out on a date.
Thriller The Musical, which does not have a creative team on board, is not the first Jackson-centric stage show - the tribute musical Thriller Live debuted in London's West End last week.
Should be good
