Errol Brown is to quit the music industry after a career spanning four decades.
The Hot Chocolate singer will embark on his farewell jaunt in February before retiring from music for good, reports WENN.
Brown, 60, said that the time is right as he feels "silly" performing pop songs at his age.
He said: "It's just time really to say goodbye, to be honest. And to thank everybody for everything they've done and the support I've been given, and sail off into the sunset.
"When you've done your thing, a lot of times you've had your greatest creative years and then to be going out and trying to come back with something - at my age, now it's a bit silly. I'm sorry to say that. I just think that my best work is done and that's it."
The 'You Sexy Thing' singer was made an MBE for services to popular music in 2003 and won the Ivor Novello Award for outstanding contributions to British music the following year.
Aww, I have always liked Hot Chocolate (not only the drinking type  )
