GEORGE Clooney is returning to ER for the hospital drama’s final series.
The actor is said to be filming a secret guest appearance as Dr Doug Ross.
He is set to reunite with Julianna Margulies, 42, as lover Carol Hathaway.
Original stars Noah Wyle, 37, and Anthony Edwards, 46, have appeared in the final series. Eriq La Salle, 46, is to return.
Ocean’s Eleven star George, 47, found fame on the US show. He last appeared in 2000.
ER, which began in 1994, airs for the last time in the US on April 2.
