Has anyone seen this weeks series on BBC1? I thought they gave a brilliant portrayal of Anne Frank. I once went to a Dutch play about Anne Frank. It is such a moving story. You know how it ends but it is still shocking.

I felt real grieve for such a young teenager not being able to be a teenager and cope with all these feelings. When you are 37 like me you can appreciate what she must have been missing.

Kudos to the makers of this drama, well done.

The are going to repeat it from 24th of January. BBC 2 I think.

I was sobbing my eyes out at the end when they are found out. It is still a shock.
Shiv I've read the book as well. Even in the original handwriting. In Holland they printed replica's of the original. I was also 14 when I read it. Same age as Anne Frank it left a deep impression whithin me.

Abbie all five episodes are on bbc Iplayer. I have been watching it all week and it was very moving. I have seen other dramas about Anne Frank and read her diaries at school. I found it very moving as both my parents were evacutees in the War and our music teacher was frrom Czechoslovakia he used to tell us about the war as he joined the army when he was 17.
