Why would Dot give money to Janine? She's probably going to hand over what she's got left to Nick in return for Dotty.

Maybe Archie if it means getting one over on Ronnie? :searchme:

Janine tells Billy about her master plan
Airs on Monday, January 26 2009 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

After a disastrous phone conversation with Honey about visiting the kids, Billy heads to the café where he plucks up the courage to ask Ronnie for his R&R cleaning job back, which Ronnie agrees to. While he's working, Billy gets a call from Honey and agrees to let him see the kids if he heads over to see her straight away. Torn between his kids and his job, Billy decides to head out to see them. On his way, Billy realises that he doesn't even have enough money to buy his children a teddy bear, so opts to buy them some sweets instead. When he's caught off the job in the Minute Mart, Ronnie effectively sacks him.

Later, as Billy's pushing the pram through the market, Phil reveals to Billy that he put in a good word to Honey on his behalf. Shortly afterwards, Billy's in the flat clearing away all the toys when Janine announces that they're going to be rich. She goes on to explain her master plan – she intends to persuade both Jack and Ronnie to sell R&R so she can take over the business. Later, in a mix up over R&R keys, Ronnie apologies to Billy for overreacting about his situation with the kids. He reassures him that he's a good father and as she's about to leave, Billy warns her about his devious flatmate: "Don't trust Janine. She's out to shaft you."

Meanwhile, Chelsea, Libby and Lucas are organising Denise's 40th birthday party just as Denise walks in and announces that they're moving house. The girls are worried about where they'll move to, but Lucas suggests they rent the house from Patrick when he moves to Birmingham to be with Yolande. A tall, handsome black man knocks on the door looking for Patrick, but he's not in. When he returns, he agrees to let Lucas and Denise rent the house from him when he moves. With Lucas having accepted a job at the chippy, Denise and Jane head back to the Beales' and walk in on Linda and Patrick kissing! Adamant that Yolande still loves him, Denise decides to visit her in Birmingham.

Elsewhere, Jay tells Billy that he really likes Marissa; Max sees Tanya who has a new haircut and she tells him that she wants him and Bradley out of the house; Jay gives Marissa a bracelet; Max and Bradley reluctantly move in with Phil; and Marissa tells Jay that she's being beaten up, prompting Jay to suggest that they leave Walford together tomorrow.

Jack threatens to teach Janine a lesson
Airs on Tuesday, January 27 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Janine's frustratingly trying to get hold of Ronnie but can't find her anywhere and Jack quickly steps in and reveals that he's seen her and leads Janine back to R&R. Inside, Jack's seething with rage as Ronnie's cancelled a booking that he made. Janine gets Jack to confess that he's sick of his current situation and wishes he could spend more time with his daughter, Penny. Despite his grievances, though, he admits that nothing will cause him to give up his share. Janine, however, suggests that he sell it instead. Back at the flat, Billy's talks to Janine about her harebrained scheme and he's in disbelief when she reveals that Jack wants £10,000 for the share. Pondering the source of the cash, Janine's concentration moves to Terrence the dog.

Jack's stunned when Janine stumps up the deposit and assures him to leave Ronnie to her. However, Ronnie's been watching them the whole time via the club's webcam. It's at this point she realises that Jack and Ronnie have been working together the whole time. During Denise's birthday celebration at R&R, Janine slips into the office as Jack watches her every move on his laptop from his flat. Janine pulls a petrol can out of her bag and begins to rifle through the desk drawers. Jack's soon standing in the doorway behind her and threatens to teach her a lesson…

Meanwhile, Patrick arrives to see Denise on her birthday and he's not impressed in the slightest to hear that she's gone to Birmingham to see Yolande. He goes to call his wife but Lucas stops him in his tracks. In the café, as Libby and Chelsea talk to Patrick, Linda walks in and flashes a seductive smile at him. However, Patrick is forced to admit to a furious Linda that he and Yolande had never split up and wants to fight for his marriage. Later, Denise returns to the Square alone and hands Patrick Yolande's wedding ring. At Denise's birthday celebration at R&R, Chelsea finds Theo, the man who called for Patrick yesterday. Confirming he's found the right Patrick Trueman, Theo heads outside and makes a call: "It's definitely him".

Elsewhere, Jay's plans to escape with Marissa are thwarted when Janine rumbles his money source; and Zainab gives Masood and anniversary to remember.

Janine shows Jack what she's made of
Airs on Thursday, January 29 2009 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Forcing Janine out of R&R, Jack urges her to climb into the boot of his car. Beginning to worry, Janine screams for Billy, hoping that Jack would re-think his actions. At that moment, Marissa appears, allowing Janine to make a run for it. With Jack in hot pursuit, Janine has a plan and heads back to the club. On returning to R&R himself, Jack finds that his laptop has disappeared. His phone soon rings and Janine's on the other end, asking him to meet her outside. She teases Jack by showing him her stocking and the pair descent into the office. As Janine apologises, she pours Jack a glass of whiskey. However, Jack's bored of her ongoing act and tells her to get out. As she's about to leave, Jack collapses – she's spiked his drink.

Jack regains consciousness and finds himself chained to a radiator, but he's seemingly unfazed Janine's tactics. Janine's eyes lock onto the petrol can. In an attempt to warn her off, Jack reveals that he's more dangerous that she knows. Not flustered by his claims, Janine begins to pour petrol all over the office. Jack, however, quickly realises that the liquid is only water, just as Janine reveals that she's recorded their whole conversation about his past for safekeeping! She walks out of the club, leaving Jack chained to the radiator for the night.

Meanwhile, Billy's having trouble with Jay who he finds packing his bags. Jay says that because Billy has Janine and he has Marissa, they can go their separate ways and explains that he wants to go live with his granddad. Uninterested in what Billy has to say, Jay storms out to meet Marissa. Finally tracking her down in the café, Jay's suspicious by her behaviour. Hiding from him in the Square, Marissa hates the thought of deceiving him, so warns him to go home. Later, he's left devastated when he overhears Phil telling Billy that Jay's departure could be a blessing in disguise, prompting him to disappear into the night.

Elsewhere, in The Vic, Bradley spends some time with Max, before seeing Stacey. She lets him know that she's broken up with Callum and that Jean's currently in care. Sharing a moment, Bradley consoles his one true love. Later, Bradley finds himself helping a man called Don with a flat tyre. Giving Don a lift to a nearby lock-up, Bradley's surprised when Don tells Bradley to 'look after him', before running off. Investigating further, Bradley's surprised when a huge St Bernard called Gumbo flies at him and starts licking his face. Bradley's not impressed.

Jack searches for the incriminating evidence
Airs on Friday, January 30 2009 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

Billy's still trying to figure out what Janine's master plan involves and when he turns up at the club for work, he walks into the office to find a less-than-impressed Jack still chained to the radiator. Realising that Janine could have something to do with Jack's overnight incarceration, Billy reluctantly unlocks the handcuffs. At that moment, Jack grabs him and demands to know where Janine is. Taking Jack to the flat, Billy breathes a sigh of relief when Janine's nowhere in sight. Despite the lack of Janine's presence, Jack bursts in, hunting for the incriminating audio file.

Billy's furious when Jack grabs Janet's book from the shelf and demands that e leave it alone. Thinking of his own daughter, Jack is momentarily silent until the phone breaks his thoughts – it's Janine. In an effort to throw her off his scent, Jack sees that the only way to push Janine away is to ignore her. However, this only serves to fuel her determination. Later, Christian turns up at R&R to set up for a party and mentions a video message to Jack over the phone. Realising Janine's next move, Jack rushes back to the club and pulls the plug on the projector in the nick of time. Dragging her outside, Janine reveals that R&R isn't her goal any longer – and Jack agrees to give her what she wants…

Meanwhile, Jane and Masood's attempts to avoid each other prove fruitless and Christian thinks the situation's hilarious. A smug Ian walks in and makes a snide comment about the difficulties of running a successful business. However, he's knocked off his high horse when Jane revealed that they have the Gazette party to cater for. Later, Jane and Christian meet with Masood and Zainab to discuss the working arrangements. Ian tries to gatecrash the meeting, but it quickly stopped in his tracks. In preparation for the Gazette party, Zainab laces Jane's Shepherd's Pie with chili. The battle lines are drawn and the catering war commences.

Elsewhere, Denise is relieved that Patrick's not leaving, but Patrick's initially not pleased with the new living arrangements; Linda sees Walford as her home and still hasn't told Jane and Ian about her husband's letter; Ian takes advantage of a moping Billy; and Bradley continues to struggle with Gumbo but finds a leaflet for a dog show.
