I thought it would be pleasant to leave a thread so that people can register their admiration for Dot and Jim :cheer: . I believe that Dot is right on with her driving lessons- go Dot! What do you think? :searchme:

i hope they show some more of her driving lessons... i think it's funny how Jim is jealous... they make great TV... best couple in the square at the mo... they're classic comedy and always perk me up... Love Dot and Jim

I agree totally. The reason is that they are two long established and experienced actors. Dot is not in EE for the totty-factor and I've yet to hear anyone saying Jim Branning is soooooooo fiiiiiiiiittttttttt. More characters like these two and less of the wooden ones. More stories for Dot and Jim less Shannis, Zonnis, Molfie and Kalfie

i like the Shannis storyline as it was a mix of characters... but Dot and Jim always make me laugh... they're a classic comedy partnership... Love Dot and Jim

I agree totally. The reason is that they are two long established and experienced actors. Dot is not in EE for the totty-factor and I've yet to hear anyone saying Jim Branning is soooooooo fiiiiiiiiittttttttt. More characters like these two and less of the wooden ones. More stories for Dot and Jim less Shannis, Zonnis, Molfie and Kalfie Couldn't agree more about the Shannis thing. Dennis and Sharon got far to much air time when they were around.

ive said that before in another post about my gran and grandad! you can really see the resemblance. dot telling jim off is exactly what my gran does to my grandad!

Yeh and the way JIm really relies on Dot to make his tea and the way they talk to each other, and the way Jim calls dot, Dorothy is the same way my Grandad calls my nan Margaret!!

well my grandads quite good at making his own dinner lol but thats prob cos my gran goes out a lot and if he didnt then he wouldnt have anything to eat!!! but its exactly the same the way jim does something wrong (my grandads always doing this) and dot tells him off (which my gran does) then instead of jim getting annoyed he just goes yes dorothy (my grandad just accepts it and walks off!)

i dont like these spooky coincidences (sp?), my grans called margaret too (well actually both of them are, thats freaky in itself!), please dont let your grandad be called the same as mine, that would just be weird!!!

I just thought i saiy again, that Dot and Jim are the best. they always have the funnyiest storylines and stuff. But what are peoples views on Patrick and Yolande??
