Baby You Can Drive My Car ....

Without even 1 leasson wee lauren jumps into a car, take off the handbrake and is giving it clutch change gears accelerator without even a hint of a kangaroo start. Not only that she's driving at speed into a person and when he goes over the bonnet not even a swerve to the side, keeps on drving. Then makes her way away from Albert Sq, no dobut stopping at lights (no stalling) junctions and all the rest before finding a bit of waste ground to ditch the car.

Did she torch it ? then gets back to Albert Sq before anyone notices she's been gone.

I must get in touch to see who her driving instructor was , oh nearly forgot .. Sherlock ... Jack was supposed to have been in the car before her but left it with the motor running. Smart girl, even had time to readjust the seat so she could reach the peddles.

COME ON !

This storyline had plot holes from the very start - I guessed it was Lauren from the start, despite it being an unrealistic conclusion. You just have to enjoy EastEnders for what it is.

Right on, walsh. It's what I've been saying all along since it's been clear that Lauren was the culprit. I know it's just a soap but it is supposed to have some basis in reality, otherwise you could start introducing all sorts of ridiculous situations and we'd finish up like Dynasty with Aliens coming down to abduct people. Or you might even get a situation where two people fall in to a frozen lake in the middle of the night and come out without even shivering or feeling cold....ooops...we've already done that!:thumbsdow

I wonder how they will explain it?

haha, yeah it does seem a bit unrealistic, but it could happen. THeres loads of little chavs near me who at the age of 13 can drive a car, well attempt to any way.

I know how they will clear this up.. Lauren was in the car when Jack was given Darren a driving lesson and she picked it up from there (totally unrealistic but an explanation)

Was it not Darren in the car just before her? And he ran off to get Libby or something..Theyre about the same height. But yeah turning them corners would be nearly impossible for a girl of her age. EE should of thought about it more thoroughly.

I know it's along time since this thread was active but I have been thinking about it recently. They never did explain how Lauren managed to drive the car like an expert.

It will just have to remain forever one of Soapland's biggest mysteries....

Thats a good point

I guess they just thought we would believe that she could do it
