The Saturdays have admitted that they are "really excited" about recording their second studio album.

The 'Issues' singers, who are currently on their first headline tour, have promised that the record will be a "progression" from their debut Chasing Lights.

"It's a similar sound. We've got a lot of people that like our sound at the moment so we didn't want to go too different," Mollie King told DS.

"But it is a progression. Your second album always needs to be."

"We're taking some time out because we're on tour at the minute. But we're going to get back to it in July and the whole month is pretty much for the second album," Frankie Sandford added.


I heard a clip of one of the new songs "Wordshaker" and it sounds quite good!

i love this song atm, it's one of my faves, it gets played a lot in the clubs so i love it :D

they were brilliant and has for my camera i had to stop using it the zoom was too big! got some of pixie lott though she was amazing! 4 members came out the back!

Last night was brilliant, well worth £20! I loved the violin intro they did for Issues, probably my fave song of the night. they're all great on stage together and spoke to the audience a good few times aswell, Pixie was decent too. there was two other girls supporting aswell but i didn't think much of them.

Oh and 'Wordshaker' from the next album is fantastic, can't wait to hear the recorded version! shall post some pics in a bit! :thumbsup:

Yeah I think so too but at the moment with so many people buying Jacksons songs other artists arent getting that much attention they normally would
