Amazon mp3 website

Has anyone used the new Amazon website for downloading mp3s? They are trying to rival the iTunes website. I would like to know whether people think the Amazon site is reliable, that is, if the music they download burns onto CDs OK or whether they have had any problems with it. Thanks. :angel:

Yeah I have. I prefer it to iTunes; it's cheaper in the case of most songs (2 that were in the top 40 today I just got for 59p each.) iTunes songs won't go onto my phone anymore because they've made them a different file type now or something and I know my phone takes mp3s. The last lot I got from iTunes I got onto CD with great difficulty but it won't rip back onto my new computer.

I have also had difficulty with iTunes. Have you been able to put your Amazon mp3s onto a CD okay then?

Just tried and it came out fine; a lot easier to do than iTunes now that they've changed all the files around.

When you buy a song, does it go into your My Music folder on your computer?

I just open it straight up in Windows Media Player because it gives you the option to do so. Still getting used to Vista so I just do it that way.

Are you downloading from Amazon or itunes?

I had to download the amazon MP3 downloader. I've just paid and it's automatically downloaded the songs and added them to itunes.

Are you using a mac?

I emailed them and they told me what to do. Have to say they don't make it clear on their website/invoice what to do!

I bought 4 songs yesterday: Gabriella Cilmi, Britney Spears, Duffy and Lily Allen.
When you bought the songs did they charge you on your credit card and then in another transaction, credited you back your money? I love the Saturdays BTW :)

I don't know if they have recredited me, I don't have online banking with the HSBC. They should recredit everyone by 9th Jan.

I forgot about this until about 11pm on Boxing Day; went on to download and my internet wasn't working :(
