To me a big part of Christmas is Eastenders on Christmas Day, it's usually compulsive viewing!!! So my question to you all is (out of the 00's, which has been your favourite Christmas storyline?)

Hard to choose really.. as none of them have set the world alight for me personally, but I went with last year's as I did think it was awesome compared to the others!

Peggy smashing up the vic was hilarious haha

I voted 2001 (also one of EE's very best years) Kat headbutting Roxy "and you know where to come back if you want some more!!" :D

And although most of 2004 was pretty dire I really enjoyed that xmas ep too.

The worst was probably the 2005 one, very poor.

Bryan, you are unfair, how can i possibly pick a favourite out of some of them.

I have to love Jamie dying episode for obvious reasons but i also love 01, 04 and 05

Can't possibly pick :wall:

2001 definitly. Trevor Mo and the gravy dinner, was awful yet so great to watch, i mean it was too much realism there.

Then i think 02 and 05 would be 2nd and third

Was it 2005 when Dennis died?

His death and Jamie's death were so sad

My favourite was the revelation of Max and Stacy's affair. It was the first time my cousin brought her boyfriend over for Christmas. As usual, my family argued and I think the only thing we agreed on was watching Eastenders! It also was the only time we were quiet. After that, we all went our separate ways, just like the Slater/Branning family. Our bust up wasn't as bad as theirs, but I think her Australian boyfriend compared Christmas Day at our house to watching Christmas on Eastenders!

yeah the stax affair revelation was by far the best, although i did like kat and alfies wedding too - a happy occasion for once.

but whats christmas at walford without drama, if i lived there i think i would go away between december and come back after new year lol
