'Lost' star Holloway to become a father

Lost actor Josh Holloway and his wife Yessica are expecting their first child.

The actor, who plays Sawyer in the ABC drama, will become a father in 2009, reports TV Guide.

Holloway is currently filming the fifth season of Lost in Hawaii. The show is scheduled to air on January 21.

The 39-year-old wed Yessica in 2004.

Lost star Josh Holloway has become a father for the first time.

The actor, who plays Sawyer in the ABC drama, and his wife Yessica welcomed a baby daughter in Hawaii on April 9, reports People. The couple have named the new arrival Java Kumala Holloway.

"Dad and mum are absolutely thrilled. Everyone's happy and healthy," said a friend of the family.

Holloway, 39, tied the knot with Yessica in 2004.

Earlier this year, his Lost co-star Daniel Dae Kim insisted that the actor would make an "incredible dad".
