Just back from A&E and been diagnoised with pleurisy has anyone ever had this??? im in so much pain its unbelievable!!!

an infection in the lining of my lungs and theres nothing they can do just manage the pain and wait til it goes!!!!!:angry:

Yup i've had it, the pain is really bad, feels like your being stabbed or shot in the chest and back all the time. Although i have to say my Gall Stones is far worse pain. But i am getting a liking for Morphine now days!

Im still in agony the only thing the hospital would give me was co=codimol and told me not to drive!!!!!!

Luna I have had it and it was HORRIBLE,,YOU just have to suck it in and ride it out... even tho i had some real good pain killers, and yes I was also told NOT TO DRIVE,, ,,IT IS REALLY painful... I hope u feel better soon

Is that all they gave you, i was give injection at the time, and sent home with tramadol. I hope they atleast gave you the stronger dose of Co-Codamol.
