I am kind of on the fence. She sings it so well, but it's annoying that it's a cover of such a recent song. I loved Snow Patrol's version of it..so I don't know..

I love both versions but still prefer Snow Patrol's best, its an amazing song.

A lot of SP fans say that Leona has turned it into a typical "girly ballad" which I agree with in a way but she still pulls it off beautifully, no one can deny it!

I love the original Version by Snow Patrol i hate the Leona Lewis version and overplayed is an understatment.

To be honest i love the SP version of this song i find this song very emotional and powerful without it having to be a ballad. :)

However Leona sings it beautifully no denying she has a great voice.:)

I ADORED Snow Patrol's version, one of my fav songs - so i do like Leona's version but its not as good and its being overplayed :(

Leona Lewis has knocked Take That off the top of the UK singles chart.

Her version of Snow Patrol's 'Run', which became available to download seven days ago, debuts at number one this week.

It becomes her third chart-topper - following her X Factor winner's song 'A Moment Like This' in 2006 and 'Bleeding Love' last year.

Take That slip to two with 'Greatest Day', while Britney Spears jumps to a new peak of three with 'Womanizer'.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry climbs to a new peak of four with 'Hot N Cold', while Kings of Leon leap from 15 to ten with 'Use Somebody'.

Outside of the top ten, notable gains come from Miley Cyrus, who jumps from 56 to 25 with '7 Things', and Will Young, who advances from 63 to 33 with 'Grace'.

I loved Leona's verison of Run but you can't top SP especially the guitar solo.
