A new poll has named Blade Runner as the greatest science-fiction movie of all time.

Editors at Moviefone placed the Ridley Scott film ahead of The Empire Strikes Back and Aliens.

"A box office dud at the time of its release, this movie has undergone more facelifts than Joan Rivers," the experts explained. ( )

"Regardless, it's a dark future with film noir elements dripping from every pore."

Other films in the list included The Day The Earth Stood Still and Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Any of you agree? I liked the film but best flic of all time? :hmm:

I had to do this movie for my media course and i didn't like it but i think perhaps because it wasn't a genre i particularly liked but being a media student we looked into it in depth and it was quite intresting how it came along and why it was made so dark and depressing. (Luckily i'm able to do gladiator:p)
